I feel sorry for the guy. He has bust a gut to get that club going again but there are some real problems at the club. I find it bewildering that a team with the likes of Haldane, Constable, Carruthers, Murray, Trainer and Turley (yes his is a banker as I think the song goes, but he is a decent keeper) is failing so badly. They looked great for the first 20 minutes yesterday (and the last 45 against us earlier in the season) - but their body language for the second half yesterday was dreadful - I was watching the match with an Exeter fan and he said "I can't see Oxford scoring" - and it wasn't just to jinx us per normal!

Maybe the players are not behind the manager. or far to many of them think they are all far to special or something. To think I watched them in the milk cup final(yes I was a milkman then) against QPR, when they were a top flight club.
They fall I feel has been unbelievable and what a journey it must have been for their very longest supporting fans.

Well if you are a struggling BSP manager at the moment don't play Torquay United will you...
Colin Walker a fortnight ago Patterson today.
I can't see how anyone can help Oxford at the moment. A crippling rent to pay Ka$$am and now more money in paying off Patterson.
I think they will stick with the Bald Eagle for the season. They wern't happy with him last year but he is experienced and the chapest option open to them.

I told you this was a "done deal" put on ice before the Dorchester tie...................the Oxford board just didn't want to rock the boat whilst they still clung to the chance of a big cup pay day. There is a "connection" here with the Hollins and Weymouth story.............and possibly another fat little bastard we all love to hate too. I'm not saying appointments WILL be made, but there have been enquiries carried out that have caused ructions in the boardrooms of two BSP clubs.

Have you glory if it satisfies your need to to be right or know it all!

There is a connection here with the Hollins and Weymouth story.............and possibly another fat little bastard we all love to hate too. I cant stand the poisonous dwarf, but the success that he has had at Boston (yes, we all know they shouldn't have been in the league and are back where they belong!) and now Crawley is likely to mean that clubs will be interested in him. One thing that I can't understand is the amount of quality players that he can attract - he can't be supplementing ALL of them with dodgy payments?!!? I think that Oxford have probably left it too late to make a break for the play-off but stranger things have happend.

I`m not surprised by this as Oxford have all those players yet not performing and into days game you dont get given time and probably in Pattersons case the money to change the squad if he need or wanted to, seeing as they have all thier problems oof the pitch.
