As this team is an official Torquay United team I will be after the programmes. I can state that NO programmes were issued for the away games at Dobwalls on 25/8/13; Launceston on 1/9/13; or Illogan on 15/9/13. I don't know about the home game yet on 8/9/13.

I was also thinking along the same lines, thanks for the info Sam.

Would be worth continuing to compile a definitive list.

Given Torquay United won 6-0, it was fitting the programme described them as "illustrious opponents".
Torquay then beat Eastleigh 4-1 in the second round before losing 8-1 to Oxford United in round three. That put Oxford in the last thirty-two.
Do any of the names ring bells as players or supporters? We're talking about just over twenty years ago.
Richard Thompson is still in football as manager of Mangotsfield United.

Richard Thompson was, to be fair, pretty poor. Tall and gangly, he was possibly signed to replace Dave Caldwell but it was only the mullet hairstyle that they shared, although Thompson did rise like a salmon to score the winner against a non-league Yeovil.
