Lots of excellent football in that 1979/80 season and at one stage it looked like it was going to be a successful one as well.
Probably a lively social scene too given some of the names in the squad.
Read the small print and you'll see details of Clint Boulton's testimonial against Southampton. Who was MacGrogan who started for us? And whatever happened to Southampton's right back?
On Target must have been a recent innovation. I think it was a filler for the Duplex Litho stable of programmes. Might a certain contributor have been instrumental?
