Are set to be liquidated, or at least one of the companies that make up the club. Cue points deduction and possibly league 2 next year.

As with all situations like this, I feel sorry for the supporters who have to watch their club get into such a mess usually through no fault of their own. I have a bit of a soft spot for Coventry as when I was about 10 on a visit to the city my grandad took me to look at their highfield road stadium. He was bold enough to ask at reception for an impromptu tour and they duely obliged, dug outs, dressing rooms and all! As a football mad young boy, I was thrilled! Makes me so glad that our club is now well run and spends within its means. We may be small but we have a great club to support.

the manset deal grates..... Why would it? They have a transfer embargo - they can't sign him even if they wanted to. Plus there was no hard evidence he was even willing to come here. And by all accounts Hawley's better anyway I've no idea how the owners of Coventry City were judged to be "fit and proper". The owners of the Ricoh have played their part too. Two warring sides interested only in making a profit and leaving the fans of the club marooned in the middle. Very disappointing situation

Very disappointing situation He was happy to speak to Knill and didn't reject him outright and made some positve noises although Knill thought things weren't quite right with him. I suppose the reason it grates is that one of our potential targets slipped off the radar partly at least because another club were offering more money which they didn't have but as you said can't even sign him anyway. Very happy with our situation as it stands but things are hard enough as it is with our wage constraints without this sort of thing happening....

Despite what was initially reported, Coventry have just been deducted 10 points and not 15! Fighting chance for survival but suspect it will be tough for them
