I'm sure Eastbourne will want to keep hold of the two I've mentioned, but a bit of negotiation with Sturrock and a Carayol and Green sweetener for a team we've played twice already, and we'd have a "left-winger" and a big striker who is on goal scoring form with no financial outlay. Stranger things have happened.

I don't really think that we need to sign anyone in the transfer window as we've solved the permanent issue of finding a decent keeper. I think it spoke volumes how good The Talented Mr Bevan is by the ovation he received from the Kidderminster fans when he came back on before the start of the second half.
However I would like to see us getting a decent left winger in. I see Nick has mentionned Andy Sandell from Salisbury. Anymore we can think of who would do a better job than Stevens and Carayol? Stevens isn't a left winger and young Muzzie is still a bit raw. Good impact players as subsitutes but..............
If Mansell gets injured. Who else can do a good job at right back?

Dan Smith has played on the left for Argyle reserves. I think Sandell is on loan to Aldershot. Am guessing Robbo is seen as right back cover. I thought Ryan Williams on Weymouth's left showed he still had a bit about him on Boxing Day, as well.

He has this nasty habit of not looking up though. Who was Weymouth's number 10 by the way? He looked quite lively?

One I've referred to as "Phillips, but better" on another thread. I banged on about him on the other site close season, saying we should give him a go. Tisdale is meant to have been interested in him just before his move from Didcot. Trivia: His Dad's a painter and decorator in Reading and used to play in the same Reading team as Neil Webb. His son, Josh Webb, is also at Weymouth.

I thought he was there best player by a long way. I guess if Tisdale is already interested we've got little hope.

Not sure that Tisdale is interested in Beavon anymore, although watch him make a move to sign Paul Benson from Dagenham & Redbridge.....
Ryan Williams has had many cracking games against us in the past. I'm surprised he never made it at a higher level.

I see that Andy Sandell has signed for Aldershot today for an undisclosed fee.

Oh silly me! We've already got one! Read the bit on the BBC and then the Bristol site and thought they'd got it wrong and he was for Blackpool! I am stupid sometimes.
Whoever's sorted this one out for the club deserves a big pat on the back!
