After a hard days grafting and working at college, I thoguht I would have a wonder around Torquay town and as I was in the Orange phone shop looking which phone I want for christmas a small tap on the shoulder and there standing behind me was ex-Torquay, Team Bath, Dorchester, Tiverton and current Dawlish keeper Martin Horsell.
We got talking about football and he said he was at Dawlish on a temporary basis, as he returns from a leg injury and is looking to come back into pro football.
When he was with us I felt he did great in goa, especially with all the turmoil going on at the club and I would have liked for him to stay with us. He is young has loads of potential and was already a good keeper; and a former England Youth keeper as well.
He wished us all the best at Torquay and even got to the Pre-season friendly between us and his former club Bristol Rovers and he dose reall want us to go up this season.
After talking to him and shaking hans and going our separate ways I got thinking whether we could sign him and what do other Torquay fans think if we did sign Martin again. I for one would like it if we signed him, maybe send him on loand like were currently doing to Ricey and we will have a great keeper along with Poke, Bevan and Rice.
So what do you all think of Martin Horsell and would you sing him?
