And number eleven for Rovers is.....Paul Purnell who we've previously encountered playing for Bristol Primary Schools at Plainmoor.
Good to see John Lovis - hello John! - savouring 1954/55. Note the bit about the change in the club's colours and the long gap between the club's various nicknames. Those Gulls were still far over the horizon. Is "Gulls" a good nickname or a rather crappy one? I'm never quite sure.
The arrival too of the easily-forgotten Colin Walker who had an interesting playing career mainly either close to South Yorkshire or in New Zealand. He later managed Maltby Miners Welfare and, more recently, York City. Apparently he now works on the academy side for Doncaster Rovers.
