I’m still trying to find my away around our new forum software and finding new features all the time. I expect some of you have found ones I still have not and today I found one I think I should tell you all about, just in case you did not know about it. If you go to your profile and then click edit profile and then notifications you will be able to put a tick in the box marked email and receive notifications for all the things you have ticks in the box before. I have not tested if it works but I’m sure it must. If it does then we will all know when we get a PM on the forum for example.

If you have them turned off Phil there won't be any problems I have tested it by having a PM sent to me and I was sent an email informing I had a PM. Not sure how long it took but it was not instant. Will try and sort out a spell checker for you, I need one myself anyway

Where is the spell checker - still can't find it?Here is the reply I got from proboards Phil All modern browsers include a built in spell checker. Including the newer versions of Internet Explorer. We aren't going to devote the time and resources to implementing a spell checker for outdated browsers. In addition to the resources and work we would have to do it would also slow down v5 for everyone, including people who didn't need it. Every feature on the page adds weight to the load. A spell checker would be very heavy.
Most users either already have a spell checker or have the ability to make the changes necessary to spell check should they wish to.
We will not be adding a spell check to v5.

We will not be adding a spell check to v5. Knabs I fully agree Phil, I always write my post in word first so I can make sure as far as possible I have got all the words spelt correctly, but even that does not always work for the thick one from devon I often get a pop up asking me to give it a clue.

I did add that news to Davey's thread on PB support, but, he missed it. The plugin to be found here. However, as you see from some of the replies...it's a work in progress! But, no harm in installing it. Cheers.
