There was a time a number of years ago we almost forgot we were a football forum. Very little football ended up being talked about and so much so it was suggested we got rid of some of the other boards on the forum. That was not something the membership wanted at the time and so the forum remained unchanged.
For a number of reasons lately its only football we are talking about and for that reason I intend to make the forum as football orientate at possible. Sadly new articles for our history room have dried up and we would hope other members will find new things to add to what is a super reference section on the TFF. Promised new additions for our grounds review room are now not going to happen, but once again we hope other members will add to the great collection that can be found in that room.
Lou will no longer be running our predication league next season; I have plans to run a much simpler one next season with a new points system that will create a much tighter league and a better chance for everyone to win it. I’m hoping to come up with some prizes for the winners, but more on that before the start of next season.
A code was always used to hide the post counts when we used the old forum software, there is not such code right now that will do the same job on the new software and so we might as well use the post count to some good effect.
From today we will be using members ranking system based on the number of posts made by each member. To keep it all to a football theme, the ranking names will all be player related.
Members who have made between one and one hindered posts will have the title FIRST TEAMERS
One hundred to five hundred post STAR PLAYER
Five hundred to three thousand post SUPER STAR
And over three thousand posts LEGEND
