Dear me it now seems our poor old rock is in a worse state, that My Bye thought it was. Any fool would know that the trees and vegetation was helping to keep the rock face stable.
The recent heavy rains caused a rock fall, but if those trees etc were still there, they would have sucked up all the rain water.
So can anyone please tell me what a Geo Park is. It seems that we are going to have one on rock Walk now. Please just get it fixed and as it was before, the way every local and holiday maker loved it.

We may soon see some work being started, to make Rock Walk at least safe. The work has been delayed because Torbay Council took the decision, that It should really apply for planning permission, to itself, before any work could start.
Only Torbay Council would ever think about doing this and what a waste Of time and money yet again. I understand It was a close vote in favor Of granting Itself the permission to start the work ;D What plants that have managed to grow and give the rock face a slightly better look, will now have to be removed again.
The rock face will have concrete and netting put over it to secure It to prevent any rock falls, well If It had been left alone, It would not have been In any danger Of having any rock falls. I really do not think I will ever see the Rock Walk I loved ever again In my lifetime, but lets hope that in a few years, it will at least look better than It does now.
