Thought some of you might be interested in this, hope to see you there!!
Torquay United Supporters' Trust are holding their first Trust Day on Saturday, December 6 for the Blue Square Premier game versus Cambridge United.
They will be lots going on on the day and the trust are asking supporters to back them in making it a YELLOW DAY.
Please wear something bright and yellow to the match, bring a flag, a banner or a scarf. Wear a loud, yellow shirt or your Torquay United shirt - anything that adds to the colour and event of the day. We want to create a party atmosphere and back the Gulls in their bid for BSP superiority.
The trust are associate sponsors for the game with the money going specifically to the club's Youth Development Scheme
The new 'Smile Ticket' partnership between the club and the trust will be launched
The trust are launching their sponsorship of the ball boys
Junior trust members will be mascots for the game
Junior trust members will be having a stadium tour and a Q & A with the players
The trust will be holding their AGM and open meeting in Boots & Laces after the game
A TUST counter will be opened on the Pop Side
The trust will be holding the half-time collection
It's a YELLOW DAY!
The trust sincerely hope that all adult members of the trust will attend the AGM and open meeting after the game.
Last year members were very helpful in shaping the activities that we have concentrated on since, namely the project to provide improved facilities for disabled and wheelchair-bound supporters at Plainmoor. We will give members a full update on that project at the forthcoming AGM, and we look forward to hearing members' input on the day.
