There are a few stories to tell amongst the sponsors and advertisers.
Least said about the Rotherham match ball sponsor the better, but do I spot our very own Mr_W and his bro sponsoring the Scarborough match ball?
Balls also from two of our current directors (Scunthorpe), an ex-manager and player (York) and an ex-player (Hereford).
Future Argyle chairman Desperate Dan sponsoring Deano, nightclubs sponsoring Kelly and Weston, a favourite haunt of Barty's sponsoring Richard Thompson, Jim McNichol sponsoring himself and nobody sponsoring the most talented player ever to grace Plainmoor.
Another current director's dad's hotels with an ad on page 2. The original history man has an article on page 6 and gets his company to cough up for an ad on page 9. A future chairman with an ad on page 8. I can recommend the pies at the pub on page 13.

Aye, and Pub Talk mentions Manchester United's Alec Ferguson in its list of successful managers who were not great players. I wonder what became of him?
And good to see a Philips radio cassette recorder being won by Mr Screech. We have all stood next to him at some point and if anyone deserves such a prize then Mr Screech is definitely the man.
