I don't know if anyone caught the Tottenham Hotspur -v- Blackburn Rovers match yesterday, but Jamie "Top Top" Redknapp played an absolute blinder. I actually laughed out loud by some of his comments, more so than usual. Thankfully, my favourite quote was pulled up by Football365's brilliant Mediawatch column today: A Learned And Impartial Eye
Jamie Redknapp struggles to be a credible pundit at the best of times, but especially when casting his learned and impartial eye over Tottenham Hotspur.
However, his assessment of his old man's managerial prowess reached something of a new low on Sunday, when he mused: "Playing Aaron Lennon on the right is such a great managerial decision." Yes Jamie. Playing a right-winger on the right wing is a stroke of tactical genius. Click here for an example of said "impartial eye"...
