I can't wait for the Oprah interviews!! I absolutely worshiped this guy and actually took time off to sit and watch him in the tour de france.
whatever he did in the way of drugs, he was still outstanding. His books are an inspiration for those who are suffering with cancer and his trust still raises money to save people.
I read Tyler Hamilton's book over Christmas and it is frightening what these cyclists were up to just for success. What a terrible world they live in but what super human things they perform.

Well heres a first--SB I agree with you ;D I have had the pleasure of watching the Tour everytime its been in the UK (starting with Plymouth in the 70's??) and last summer spent a week in France with many other Brits. I always thought Lance was deflecting all the accusations really well but it was indeed an awful web of lies and I just wonder how high in the cycling world this went?? I think the interview will be interesting but am more concerned about the future of this great sport.

I love Le Tour as well and I was always full of admiration for Lance Armstrong. He was the Maradona, the Don Bradman, the Navratilova, the Muhammad Ali of cycling.
Now it turns out that Armstrong was at the head of one of the biggest cheating conspiracies in sporting history he should have to repay all the prize money he has ever won and all the sponsorship money he was given on the premise of being clean, and should then go to prison for a long time.
Cheat, liar, bully, bastard. He has sullied an entire sport in a way that probably nobody has ever done before.

Still lying. Still trying to create narratives. Still hiding behind his illness. Still an awful man

Still lying. Still trying to create narratives. Still hiding behind his illness. Still an awful man I think I'm with on this one. This whole interview is a show directed by LA and his lawyers. He did it in the past and is doing again. I take the incident with Filippo Simeoni as an example of what he was back then; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filippo_Simeoni
