Its sad to hear this, but what I do know after being told by him last night is that this wont get him down and I told him that he will have everyone behind him and supporting him and he will.
leukaemia is dreadful and I know people close to me who have had this and know what its like emotionally and wish Chris` family all the best. No one should have to go through this and I know that Chris will battle this and I for one give him my 100% wishes.
We all love you Toddy, fight the leukaemia, mate.

Some lovely comments guys, lets keep them coming.
It's been said several times in the past couple of days but it really puts everything into perspective. I was having a horrible morning at work and I flicked onto the TUFC website to see what the press conference was about. Suddenly my issues weren't important.
Toddy is a battler on the field and he'll damn sure be a battler off it.
We believe in you big man, get well soon.

At the time Chris going off injured at Forest Green only added to the spicy sub-plot of a quite remarkable and memorable evening.
Now, we are reminded of life's constant ghastly sub-plots.
Yet we also know that fate plays its' part in mysterious ways. If, as it seems, Chris's injury that evening led to a timely earlier diagnosis we must now look forward to - and hope for - the ultimate positive outcome which will become the only result that truly matters from that occasion.

Spoke with him, Bevan and Carlisle last week at work, they had come in to see the Physio - very quiet chap but all three spared the time to chat.
I'm sure with his spirit he will be back playing before the end of the season.

Listening to the wireless earlier, it was nice to hear that the Exeter team's thoughts are with Toddy and they interviewed Edwards and Tisdale who had nothing but kind words for him. Fair play to them.
