Very sad when a so called 'big' premier team have to resort to cheating to beat a Non-League team.
Would be good to see the manager come out with an apology, but as Chelston said will never happen.
So glad that I support our lovely League Two team.

Suarez is, in my opinion, a despicable character. Diving, cheating and appealing to the ref before he has even hit the ground to begin his play acting theatricals. He has such ability but I just can't bear to watch him!!

Probably being very naive but it appeared that post match comments (especially from the Mansfield manager) were along the lines of 'it happens', 'if we'd had done the same thing we'd be celebrating' etc. They couldn't even condemn that French cheat Thierry Henry.
Reckon Don McClean should write a song.......................

I blame the officials! Sometimes the officials can't see what has happened (perhaps it was a bit murky at the time) but action could/should be taken after the game has finished. Me I would give Suarez a hefty fine and/or lengthy match ban coupled with community service - if Rene did the same, then I would expect the proverbial book to be well and truly thrown at him. Don't get me started on Henry As for whether the match should be replayed.................................. |
