Hi Dave, thanks for the kind words. I have been way off the radar for a while.
My Mum was unwell late last year and i moved back to Devon from Hampshire to care for her. She was diagnosed with advanced metastatic breast cancer also in her bones and spinal cord compression leaving her unable to walk in may. I got her in a home after a long hospital stay in ealry july. She then feel and broke her hip in september and died end of october.
I have found it tough. I know you understand.
I now have no faily left at all and am recieving counselling. sorry for morbid reintroduction but just wanted to share as have good friends like you on here
on a lighter note, thanks. Comics is one of my passions! SO thanks! One thing... someone posted but now they are showing as a name but a guest does that mean they enrolled and left or have i left people able to post as guest? tho would it not just say guest lol!
Any help?!

Hi mate so sorry to hear your sad news, you know you are amongst friends on here and if you ever need a chat I'm more than happy to give you a phone number to call.
When I looked at your forum this morning only you were showing as a member. I see you now have two so can't tell by looking at your main page if someone else joined and then posted and then deleted their account.
Click on your admin button and then find the security log, click on this and if an account has been deleted, it will show up there. If there is not an entry then you have a board or boards set for guest posting, Go through them and make sure they are set so only members can post, start threads etc.

Do you mean the stars showing under your name? you can set up the forum so stars can be awarded by the number of posts made by any member. IE 1 to 50 posts one star, then say 50 to 100 posts two stars and so on, if you want to do it that way let me know and I ill help you set it up. I use my own stars on here( well balls really lol) and use the same number no matter how many posts a member makes. |
