Looking forward to seeing the line up, just got the tail end of RD where they mentioned that Jarvis to partner Howe up front? I thought it was Howe up front on his own with three behind him. I literally heard the last few seconds! Did you get the formation and line up?

Actually Dave there's usually "ten" behind him ;D. How the hell Exeter and Plymouth are getting their games on today I have no idea with the worst of the rain yet to come this afternoon. Dry enough in York by the looks of things. A good or bad thing I'm not so sure but I see this as a bit of a crunch game with the busy holiday fixture list looming on the horizon we need a result to boost confidence in the squad. Sink or swim today I just cannot make my mind up with the loss of one of our more influential players its going to be tough and will expose and reveal the squads true strengths or weaknesses.

Poke, Stevens and Jarvis in for Rice, Lathrope and Mansell. Sounds like a 4-4-2 but could be 4-4-1-1

Line-up: 01 Poke 02 Oastler 03 Nicholson 04 Downes 05 Saah 15 Bodin 18 Easton 19 Stevens 20 Craig 08 Jarvis 09 Howe
Substitutes
13 Rice 16 MacDonald 21 Cruise 06 Lathrope 17 Halpin 29 Thompson 23 Yeoman
I can't imagine that the 4-5-1 approach will be changed despite the poor performances and form, but I can't see that any one of Jarvis, Stevens or Bodin will play in a central midfield position.

Sounds like a 4-4-2 but could be 4-4-1-1 Well that looks like an admission from the manager that he was far to negative with his tactics, particularly last week and is trying to be a little more offensive. I just hope that it doesn't backfire. Easton for Lathrope is a bit of a mystery though. He's looked lightweight and well past his best to me each time I have seen him. Ok prove me wrong please Craig!

How the hell are Easton and Nicholson playing again after their dire performances last weekend?
I'm done with this. Even if we win it's a travesty that players can be consistently poor and still get picked. I can't support this

I can't support this Cue Nicho setting up Danny perfectly.....1-0 James.....it's a tough one away up north, perhaps Ling thought it was a job for the more experienced of our squad to stand up and be counted. Long way to go but so far so good.....

We could win 6-0 today with Easton scoring a hat-trick and Nicho scoring a 35 yard free kick but I couldn't care less

Don’t know what your problem is today James? Today is all about stopping the rot and coming away with all three points. Nico is a good player and it does sound as if he is having a much better game today so far. We still have 45 minutes to go, but we should all be happy with how the first half has gone.
