Come to think of it, Mrs Roberts must have been the only female in SW15 NOT to have accommodated the "smooth tongued oily member" that is Mellor. Mind you one look at the head scarfed one (like something out of League of Gentlemen) would see the Chelsea shirt discarded in an instant to reveal the old Fulham one he used to wear until John Major and Edwina Curry showed him a whole new exciting lifestyle...................toe sucking and Lady Cobham's boudoir come to mind What would Mrs R have said to the "oily one's" attempts to woo her? "Real men wear a Viktoria Zizkov away top, oily boy; and you can't buy them in Putney High Street!"

I duly donned the surgical gloves for a brisk stroll up the hill to WH Smith to read a classic Mail attempt to link the Labour Party of the 1980s - and by dint, the current government - to the Soviet Union of the Cold War. Well, I suppose they've got to keep up a fine tradition stretching back to the Zinoviev Letter of the 1920s and beyond. Ah the Zinoviev Letter ...................I guess there were plenty of thirty second attention span "Sun Readers" in those days too who changed their vote at the last moment. Northcliffe Newspapers (proprietors of the Herald Express) certainly have a historical track record of pandering to the right wing, red neck village idiot type as a scan of the comments on the "Spy In The Headscarf" story and the Herald Express anti Buckle letters of just two months ago testify. I'm surprised no-one's accused Chris Roberts of leaving an explosive devise under Rock Walk and of rising in a balloon to survey his dirty deeds. Dave, whatever happened to your "other" website?

Merse I spent some time setting It up as you know and It looked really good, I have too much to do running this one so I still have that forum but have never opened It. I use it as a test site now for this forum, I can put codes into it etc and see the results, so I do not need to play around with this one. After failing to get the Rec site, many believe that Robert did destroy Rock Walk, as he had alway had that marked down as his second site.

Dratted, now our weekend escapades on the dank drizzly cobbled streets of Berlin and Dresden have been rumbled. See Chemnitz and die Barton (or should I call you Dick?) the Barnet1 and I have, and why do you think I favour the dark fedora and shades look on my visits to the "Shoe Factory"Why of course it is to liase with Bond ............he was there again this year too - strange eh?

Merse the Model Village is not the land of the giants to me, I go there a lot and love the place, simply because its the only place where I feel a giant .

Nick Bye, of course, is classic double agent material.
Estate agent by day, CIA agent by night...
It's clear Rock Walk has been cleared to flush out political opposition. And, yes, you're not telling me that balloon is merely an icon of regeneration...
Ah, the Herald Express and the end of the era of "name and address supplied". Yesterday - you can't use "last night" any longer when, even living in Exeter, I can buy the Herald at 6am -we had Tiresias (Delphi, Greece); Victor Meldrew (Torquay) and A Man Called Jid (Montpellier).
But, even a man with a pseudonym like myself, wasn't taken in by an obviously fake identity such as "Jack Critchlow, Sherwell Hill, Torquay". I bet you can see his house from the balloon.

Merse and BartonD, I don't think you appreciate the very real threat to our national security she was and always will be.
Andy of Lancashire knows where we get with such flippancy and his call for the death sentence for HIGH TREASON seems moderate in the circumstances. As Michele of Herefordshire earnestly adds, "Someone needs to take an umbrella to her!".
Perhaps the most enlightening, somewhat revisionist, approach to the whole sorry affair can be found in the chilling words unedited below:-
"Kervin Dunn: I'm an over-60 left-wing woman but I assure you I don't look like an old boot." - Sara, Spain

"Kervin Dunn: I'm an over-60 left-wing woman but I assure you I don't look like an old boot." - Sara, Spain Neither does "Sara The Half Baked Alaskan" and look what a bloody threat SHE is to world security. Being sexy in specs lends her as much credence politically as Deirdre Bloody Barlow if you ask me!

Hillary Clinton was so worried that Bill was getting all horny over Sara Palin that she told him that the Republican was really a man in drag. "Waaadya mean a maaaaaaaan?" said Bill. 'Oh yea Billy Boy I've seen her in the Girls' Room............she's got a dick like a stallion and you should just see all that anal hair' "Stupid woman" retorted Bill, "you were looking at her broomstick"
