Have not yet thought what prize the forum will give to the winner.
So we want to know firstly what position we will finish
We want you to guess what our points total will be at the end of the season.
So I will say first position.
Total points 92

Less points out there this year I think and won't be a two-horse race.
2nd - 83 points.

i fancy the standard of the BSP to be higher this season.
it seems we have a much stronger side, however other teams also appear to have assembled decent squads.
top 5 for me will be (in no particular order):
torquay stevenage rushden wrexham oxford
underachievers:
cambridge burton mansfield
overachievers
grays crawley ebbsfleet lewes
ps to answer the question i'll have a guess at 3rd (83pts)

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say; first, 100 points, 100+ goals. ;D ;D ;D Foolhardy i hear you all say, well i will back it up with this; 1. We do sign poke on loan for a year, concede a lot less goals=more points. 2. We learn from the harsh lessons we had had last year. Don't play hoof-ball as the seasons progresses, keep it on the floor. Don't rest players and lose momentum, winning is a HABIT. Also PB will have learnt so much, and this season he will use that to improve on last season. 3. Last year we started with a core squad of 4, that meant we had to 'rush' to get as many players as possible, some were not up to the standard. This season we already had a good core of players, the new signings have added extra quality to the squad. 4. The new signings are more versatile, we have far more options than last year. 5. I don't believe the opposition will be as good this year. Aldershot were top notch, Cambridge, Burton, Exeter were also decent. 2 of those have gone, the other 2 appear to have imploded. Of the 2 relegated teams Mansfield appear to have a squad similar to ours at the start of last season, 4 players. Wrexham appear to be on a manic buy as many people as we can mode. The only team i would fear this season is Stevenage, they have bought well and acquired a good manager (don't like him, but there is no denying he is a good manager). 6. DESIRE. The players will be desperate to go up this year, after the heartbreak at the end of last season. Surely noone will want that to happen again. 7. A BIG bet at 8/1 & 7/1 e/w has influenced my thinking?? On a footnote; does anyone share my concerns that we have invested heavily over the last 2 years and that if it didnt happen this year and crowds/income drops, that we could find ourselves in a bit of financial trouble???

great post tufc01, I do think your points and goals scored are rather high, but in saying that, you make some excellent points about the team and Mr Buckle.
I don't think you need to worry about money matters at the club. Last season we lived with in the wage capping rule and the club is working hard to increase revenue where ever it can.
I do worry that if we spent to many seasons in the BSP , that gates would start to reduce, but our board want success and will put everything into getting it, so I do not believe we will be in the BSP for too long.
