I bet no one got the correct score for this match in Lou’s competition? I checked in on the forum and saw we were three nil down; I thought to myself I bet the posts that will come later are going to be interesting to read lol.
I could not believe it when I found out we had one the game and yes it was a remarkable comeback. I bet at three nil down some fans were close to walking out and if they had of done, what a game they would have missed.
During games like this one every emotion going must be felt by those watching it, from despair, anger and frustration, to hope, joy and celebration. Yes football is a roller coaster of a ride and as Barton said, you never know what any game is going to be like before it happens.
If exciting matches like this could be dished up to order, I’m sure we would see so many more attend games. But it’s not possible to do that and that is why on a wet Tuesday night after two poor home performances, not enough were there to watch the game.
I’m sure you might agree when I say winning a game in the fashion we did last night, is far more enjoyable than watching a game we might have won three goals to nil. It’s that fighting sprit that fans love to see and we sure showed plenty of that.
No real concerns are there that we let in three goals? What about going forward were we really that good and if so why?

I think the wet conditions and the wind behind us all helped together with Aldershot going on the defensive inviting wave after wave of attack. Still, a great effort!

Strange game indeed.
I think the weather played a part - 6-1 "with the wind".
First half unconvincing. Bodin looked like he didn't know what he was supposed to be doing.
Howe was absolutely supreme in the last half hour - totally unplayable. He was here, he was there, he was everyf***ingwhere.
I've been sort of saying it all season, but it is becoming more and more blindingly obvious that Nathan Craig is a class act. He will go further in the game than Eunan. No disrespect to Eunan - I loved every minute of watching him develop as a player - but Craig matches him for technical ability and vision and has a more robust physique. He will play comfortably at Championship level.
Let's not forget that Pokey pulled off a number of fine saves - without him we could easily have conceded six.
The funny thing about the game is that a heroic comeback is usually like the siege of the Alamo - everybody up, balls hoisted into the box, goalmouth scrambles, posts and crossbars rattled, general mayhem.
Yesterday, we just kept playing football and carved out the chances.
Bloody Ling. He can't even do a good old 0-3 to 4-3 comeback in a good old-fashioned "British" style. Sort it out Ling!
