Sounds as though John Hollins is likely to be on his way from Weymouth. Suspended for 28 days. Breach of contract being investigated by the Club is as much as is in the public domain at present. A shame for them as their results seem to have picked up recently.

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/weymouth/7727371.stmYou have to wonder if this is just a way to get him off the pay roll, what would a manager need to do, to be in breach of contract? Weymouth gates have been very low, they have had gates around the 900 mark, there is no way a club can run a full time professional team, on those sort of gate. What so many of our fans seem to miss, or not understand, that our gates are well below what has been budgeted for, nearer 3000 and not the 2000 we have been getting lately. So how long can the club keeping paying 22 players, plus all the other staff and we have more than most clubs at this level. This is why I made the point, that if Bucks missed the Lewes game because he wanted to do all he could to get us into the third round of the FA Cup, then the main reason, may well be more to do with money. You will all be pig sick, if we start our push second half of the season, with less players, it would only take a few injuries etc and we would be putting out a much weaker side, than we are able to at this time. Maybe he has done something wrong, but the owner there cares not for Weymouth Town Football Club, will not want to put anymore of his money into the club, he only wants to develop the ground. Do you think our board would keep dipping their hands into their own pockets, to pay all the outgoings at Plainmoor, you may find as I say, if gates do not improve, places where cuts can be made, will be looked for.

From.the rumour mill....................... John Hollins suspended for "speaking to another club" about a forthcoming managerial vacancy without his chairman's permission. Steve Evans in similar trouble at Crawley. Darren Patterson about to be fired from Oxford United once their cup replay with Dorchester is out of the way. So, are we about to see Evans and the bastard Raynor at Plainmoor for the second round of the FA Cup with Hollins returning to Broadmead? Or is Hollins about to move to Oxford?

I see it has now been confirmed that Hollins has been sacked. The reason given was missing training sessions and approaching Woking for a job. With all thats going on at the Weymouth club, sure feels good to be a TUFC fan.

But, in the style of Merse, where do I mention anyone's name?? So, it's ok for him to attack, snipe, ridicule etc but others are not allowed, even if it is only a bit of fun?

Gilchrist at Woking must be chuffed to bits to hear that news!! Not sure how long he has been in the job Rob, but it seems this happened early in the season Curtis said the most serious breach of contract came when Hollins is alleged to have approached Woking about their vacant managers' position earlier this season.
