Possession stats now reading 50-50, but even so, 22 shots to our 13, with only 3 each on target, doesn't bode brilliantly for either side - Fleetwood wasteful, us outplayed

we can only improve hopefully,i didnt fancy us getting anything up there today,it didnt sound pretty but was effective and happy with a draw.Lingy will go away suss the negatives and positives and sort it out,i just think we leave howe with too much to do in every match, just wish he could have a bit of help up front

Just listening to Lingy on the radio, opted to be play Cruise more for his defensive assets. He thought we played better in the second half as we fashioned a few opportunities but was overall happy with both this point and the players.

I may well be wrong but I thought against Leeds that Bodin sat behind Howe or played in the O'Kane role and it looked really effective and caused them no end of problems. With Macklin on one wing and Thompson on the other we would have massive speed and two wingers capable of putting in some good crosses for Howe and Bodin to feed off. Allowing for both age and eyesight I may well be wrong though!

Today's programme says that Brian Wilson - ex-Torquay United - was due to be at the game. Manager of Fleetwood in the late 1990s just after the club's re-formation.

Another snippet from today's programme. Apparently we are the most southerly British team to have played at Fleetwood. Anyone care to guess which team held this distinction prior to today?

Would have played Ebbsfleet / Dartford in the BSP in the last couple of years so probably comes down to a FA cup game against the likes of Exeter or Brighton etc.

Further south than Tivvy. But not Cornwall.

I think this point will look a good one as the season progresses. Yes they had some good periods of possesion but i thought we looked very capable defensively without showing enough going forward. Just when we really needed Bodin to be at his best i thought he had one of his very quiet games and the chance of the match for us fell to Morris right in front of the 250-300 travelling gulls. Hopefully we can show a bit more going forward in these two home games this week.
