Fairly even first half, but outplayed in the second half by a very impressive Buckland team.
Dean Stevens reminded me of why I was sure he would be a very good player when he first played for us as a 16 year old. Why didn't he make it?
Macklin had a few stunning runs but no end product. Thompson also flatters to deceive.
I thought the red for LRT was correct - a leg breaker of a tackle.
We looked better as a unit after we went down to ten men and moved from the usual 4-3-3 to a 3-4-2 formation.
Quinn and Kudi replaced Nardiello and Kewell with Macklin moving up front alongside Yeoman. Latimer was a late sub for Halpin who picked up a knock.
