After a bit of a drab affair against Oxford we have the spice of a local derby to look forward to against an improving Plymouth side who have not lost in the league since coming to Plainmoor and in those five games have doubled their tally to 18 points! It looks like we will bring a good crowd down and may even sell out our initial 1500 allocation so should be a cracking atmosphere.
Plymouth still have Darren Purse suspended but did well without him, having a rare clean sheet and even at Plainmoor took some breaking down. In the last couple of matches, only five players from the Plainmoor starting XI have begun the match with Cole, Berry and Blanchard coming off the bench from that day, Hourihane who was suspended and new signings in attack, Chadwick and Hemmings completing this new line up. The impressive Sutherland is available on the bench and I think Nelson may be injured.
As for us, Morris now joins Howe on the suspended list for this match but Bodin in his last match of this loan period should slot in fine. This will be a tough one and hopefully we can break their run and maybe with thee matches close together, we may have a slender advantage of Argyle coming into this one on the back of two tough away matches.

here we go then 6 hours to kick off against our local rivals.A real big shame no rene, but we just have to deal with it.Hopefully the oxford display was just a blip, and with bodin back we have a little more bite in our attacking forays. If we can keep the ball on the ground we should have too much ammo for them, but we all know local derbies can be strange affairs. I dont see a lot of goals coming today so 1-0 our way will do me,enjoy the game and atmosphere folks.

Could be a defining point in the season for both teams and therefore an immense game perhaps. Heart says a win for TUFC through a piece of O'Kane magic, head says 0-0 with a heroic defensive display. ;D

1-0 to us for this one, with Chadwick seeing red on 63mins.

Without Howe, no one seems to think we will score many, even though Bodin and Stevens between them have scored the same number of goals! He really is the lynchpin in attack and it is a good job that our defence has come good.

One could mention why the defence has come good but one is fed up of being labelled a `Happy Clapper`! What was it 0.9 goals a game since someones reapperance and a climb back up the table? Hides behind parapit and waits for haters!

The sun is shining brightly over Plymouth with just a few fluffy white clouds so could be an ideal afternoon for football with a wet surface from rain over the last few days but a dry sunny day so that the fans can enjoy it. Sorry it's just a weather report with no comments about the game. You all know my view anyway .... 4-0 Torquay!

Very tight match - would say that Argyle edged the first half. Not sure if the bench is up to much - should have gone to B & Q before the match.

Just have a few comments to make on what has been a tremendous day for every Gulls fan That was by far the best away atmosphere I have ever witnessed, all our fans behind the goal together as one huge yellow army Janners were outplayed and out sung from the whistle, best chant from us was "Family Stand and were avin you" ..... wonderful Was very worried about Nico from ko as he was whacked on the ankle and went down in a heap, he never goes down unless their is something wrong ... was very relieved to see him get up after treatment and carry on. All our players were superb and put in an epic away performance bar Atieno who sadly is not up to it imo Home Park is a smart stadium and it will be nice when its finished Both goals were taken well and my gang thought they were a tad scrappy but hey, I thought they were put away in a crowded box and in some games would have spooned off defenders and gone over the bar ... but they hit the net and went in I think the poor Janners fans have the collective personality of a dog that has been beaten, they just know that the days of 5 year plans to the Prem are long long gone and will have to put up with lower league footie for the near future Great win and wonderfully double for us And lastly ..... a pastie report ....... stood in line for 20 mins and Finaly got one, it was hot and decent but not as good as the ones at Plainmoor Up The Gulls !!
