Evesham played it the same way against Rushden and it worked. What I'm saying is that is DOES go on and it's no use being all "Corinthian" and pretentious about it. Recognise it, deal with it and make sure that if they do down "hurt" they bloody well stay down hurt. Obviously Evesham felt the need to disrupt the flow of the game, and to manufacture as many re-starts as possible; for it is at re-starts in which all teams are equal...................as Chipstead showed with that marvelous free kick.

Obviously Evesham felt the need to disrupt the flow of the game, and to manufacture as many re-starts as possible; for it is at re-starts in which all teams are equal...................as Chipstead showed with that marvelous free kick. fair point ,but i will not spend a minute comparing chipstead to evesham ,chipstead played the game in the right sipirt and were still unlucky not to get more out of the game ,their fans ,players and directors came in boots /laces after the game and stood freely having a chat /laugh with us torquay fans it was great ,now theirs a club that deserve massive respect and they gained a new fan in me and a few others ,eevsham as far as iam concerned can go and do one

Only caught up with the game via reports on the site as I was at Barnsley watching old Gull 'Bruno' trying to demolish another old Gull's team (Kevin Blackwell's Sheff Utd). Thanks for the reports ! As far as the 'cheating' is concerned, I'm surprised at so many defending it but I can only put that down to the fact that the cheats didn't prosper. I can't help thinking that there would be more condemnation if Gulls had lost because of it !

So true Pete, you can be sure that the posts would have had a different tone to them, If we had lost, we are blessed On the forum to have members who write great match reports, I thank them all and all the members who have still done their best to get their posts on the forum today, with the problems that have been going On.
