This is the programme for United's FA Cup second round, second replay against Swindon Town played at the neutral Ashton Gate, Bristol.
We lost the game 3-1, with Torquay's goal coming from Tommy Northcott, with the line-up being as the programme.
Interestingly we had played four games against Swindon, including this one; two draws and a defeat in the cup and a defeat in the league, before playing them again in March when United recorded their record 9-0 win, just nine weeks after this cup defeat.
Is this the only time Torquay United had to go to a second replay in the cup and therefore the only time we played a tie at a neutral ground?
Obviously Bristol City didn't see the need to push the boat out when it came to the quality of programme they produced for this game.
I believe this is the only time Torquay United had to go to a second replay in the cup and therefore the only time we played a tie at a neutral ground.
It was the third time actually - all at Ashton Gate.

The two draws with Reading were one hell of an achievement as we were non-leaguers and Reading were on their way to the D3S title - pipping Argyle to promotion. Our heroic efforts won us a bye to the first round proper in the following season, allowing us to concentrate on the league, win it and gain election to the Football League.
Amazingly, footage of the Reading game exists - anybody fancy chipping in to buy a copy?
Ah, here it is. The game mentioned in that Swindon Town programme fifteen years later. Minus the name of Swindon's Roy Onslow who scored two goals on a day when, ordinarily, he would have been at work.
