Nicholson's booking On Saturday against Chipstead, was his first yellow card for 145 games. His last booking was In a Conference match at Woking on October 1, 2005, yet nico's claims his was not his tackle.
It seems It was the linesman who gave the foul, but Nico claims It was Desane who fouled opposing winger Josh Smith. He said "I told the referee 'it wasn't me, it's mistaken identity. Mind you they look so much alike don't they ;D
I must admit I can't remember the booking, but If you saw It who's foul do you think It was.

It was right over in the far corner, but from the popside it did look like Dsane. Nicholson did make the first attempt at a challenge, but I'm fairly sure it was the second from Dsane that was the foul which should have got the card.

Thanks atheringtongull, I was on the popside, but I do talk so much to those around me, even If I don't know them ;D So I must confess I do miss some things that go on. Now I know I'm going to regret making that statement, sure Merse will say talking during a game Is as bad as going to Boots 3 Min's before half time. All I will say Is, Its a good job you don't get so many words to speak In your life before you die, It that was the case I would have been dead years ago

For a defender to go that many games without a card must be a record? does anyone know what the longer a player has gone with out a card. Bet some will say Its because he never tackles that much, but I think he Is much better at left back than Hodges.

I'm almost certain it was Dsane that committed the foul that Nicholson was Yellow carded for, unless Nico got booked for dissent?? Which is extremely unlikely as he looks like he wouldn't say boo to a goose, not sure i have ever seen him back chat or curse anybody, let alone a ref. Can you get a yellow card rescinded?? would he want to bother getting it rescinded??

As It was only a yellow and his first one for so long, I would not think he would even think about appealing the decision.
What are the chances Of him getting four more this season to get a one match ban. I'm sure and I hope someone will know, but do they not come Off at some time before the end Of the season.

I thought it was Dsane who made the tackle I will have to check my notes to see notes and it confirms that Nicholson was booked for a foul on a Chipstead player. From what I can remeber Nicholson made a ligetiment tackle followed up by a Dsane tackle which may have been a foul, the referee may have thought it was Nicholson who committed the foul and so booked him.

Yep I checked my notes and Niocholson was wrongly booked by referee ,Matthew McLaughlin. Dsane was the person who committed the foul.

Yes I was talking to you mate and others, I will explain about the sweets. There Is a guy called Dave from Exmouth, a Torquay retired fireman and he has been a pain to me at Plainmoor for years.
I always can be found On the the popside by the half way flag, Dave stands at the very back On the pop behind me. He always takes boiled sweets with him and used to spend most Of the game throwing them down and hitting me on the head.
This bloke Is no kid and In the end last season I had a few words with him outside the ground, he stopped speaking to me after that when we were outside waiting for the gates to open.
This season all Is well he started talking again and he was behaving himself, but when Stuartb was talking to me, this Dave started rolling up paper or something and started his old tricks again.
I'm all for a bit Of fun, but It has been something that has angered me at games, I pay to watch a game and not be some over grown kids target practice.
