many thanks littgull and Petergodfrey for your match reports and keeping up our excellent record of having match reports from fans at the game, for every single TUFC game ever played since the TFF was set up.
I'm sure many of us littgull would have taken up the offer of watching the game for just £5, I wonder how many the offer added to the gate? Bearing in mind how low are gates have been for the last two Tuesday night games.
I bet it was hard to keep you celebrations in check when Zebs got the winner.

Yes Dave, I was a little bit more hoarse than usual when I got back to Chorley ! Actually, the team celebrated like mad when we equalised, Stanley himself in particular. Not sure exactly what the actions signified though. On the subject of Tuesday night attendances I was reassured that it's not just Plainmoor suffering - Hartlepool, just outside the L1 play-offs had 2,313, Macclesfield only 1,067 and under 3,000 at Bury too if I heard the announcement right.

Dave, it sure was mighty hard to keep from openly celebrating but I certainly had a warm proud glow inside of me.
A number of work colleagues who are Bury fans have mentioned to me that our 2nd half performance was the best they have seen delivered by any visiting team this season.
Worth mentioning again about Zebroski, I have never seen him give less than 120% effort together with his considerable skill. You get the impression that he would walk on a bed of hot coals for Paul Buckle and the club. my nomination for player of the season by a country mile.
The crowd was just 2,700 despite the disciunted voucher offer. Times are certainly tough up and down the country.

"We are the mighty, the mighty Torquay. We went to Bury and beat em 2-1".
A staggering result and one which has transformed the league table. If the punishment is only a fine then we are indeed very handily placed.
Without doubt we now have the attacking power to take some of the pressure off our defence.
Have we hit a purple patch at absolutely the right time? Only time will tell.
Hats off to Bucks for his substitution on 32 mins, if it was indeed tactical, and for what must have been an inspirational half time chat.
Whilst most players celebrate a goal enthusiastically, I does look like the loanees are enjoying the moment. I watched Murrays reaction to Tomlins goal on Sat and he genuinely looked pleased. Last nights photos also show real emotion in the celebrations. I do wonder if we have once again the fantastic team spirit we saw in our rise from the BSP.
without getting carried away, punishment standing, I do sense something great is about to happen over the next 10 games. One game at a time and all that but things are looking good again.

Bury fan here. Thought your second half performance was the best we have seen all season. We battered you in the first half and could have gone in 3 or 4 goals up, but fair play to your Manager. He saw what was wrong, changed your formation, and the game changed round completely. I was impressed with your team last season when you beat us 3-0 up here, but last night you passed the ball around quickly, and dominated the second half so much, that I came away thankful it was only 2-1. Good luck for the rest of the season. I can see you sneaking into the top 5 or even better if you continue like that. Thanks for that report and all the best for you and your team.

This needs to go in the `Where are all the Bucks doubters now` thread just to stick it up `em!

The crowd was just 2,700 despite the disciunted voucher offer. Times are certainly tough up and down the country. If I had driven up to Bury from work yesterday in London it would've cost me just under 70 quid to fill the tank to drive the 420 miles. Throw in the admission price, the M6 Toll, a pie and a bovril and it's probaly in the region of 100 quid. As much as I love going up north I can't justify spending that sort of money at the moment.

To be honest Chris, I doubt you're the only one that thinks that way. Most teams now seem to be feeling the pinch with crowds tailing off
