Information for Wednesday night. St Lukes Bowl.
Kick off 7.30 Buckland`s normal 1st team prices apply £4.00 adults
No extra time straight to penalty`s
There will be parking in the main car park but there will be no parking on the top level pitch due to this area being to wet. Additional parking is available in the industrial estate which is a five minute walk from Homers Heath.
Game should be ok as the forecast for the next two days is to be dry, but cold in the evenings with a chance of frost.
Excellent selection of hot food available at piggy`s pantry.
Torquay United i think should bring a mixture of youth and fringe 1st team players.
Dave, I will have the kettle put on for our coffee

This would be a great opportunity to see what a great club/facilities they have there. I guarantee you will be made to feel as welcome as anywhere you have been. The facilities are great, the food is fantastic, the Tea is served in proper mugs and no doubt the pitch will be in a great condition. As Amy says there is plenty of parking as well. Whilst I imagine it will be a team of youth and trialists, I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the first team up there watching. The last time we played a friendly up there the Torquay boys signed shirts, autographs and generally had a chat with anyone who was around. It is also a good chance to see how well the young guys are progressing and hopefully he will play the likes of Palmer, Yeoman, Taylor, Spears and even Halpin?

Don't think we will see Ed Palmer Rich, as he joined Zamaretto Southern League Premier Division side Weymouth on loan, and started in last Saturday's 2-2 draw with Hemel Hemsptead

Would have loved to be at this one at Homers Heath, but after standing in the cold at Plainmoor last nite and then being in a freezing ware-house at work today I'm enjoying the warmth of my flat here at Harbourside Towers. Its a shame last nites Rotherham game was rearranged... as this fixture would have made a lovely opportunity to see a mix TUFC regs and ressies against a good value Buckland team I have a warm admiration for Buckland as I used to know Clive Holmes and family back in the day, and a have the pleasure of working in Downtown N A with a few of the Buckland players ( First Team Ressies and Thirds ) Ive got the the City -Villa game on at the mo ..but all I'm bothered about is the Homers game Prediction : First Scorer Buckland Lucas Burgess STOP THE PRESS ....Update from Homers Heath ... me step dad is there without telling me he was going......( Shit-Pig !!! ) TUFC being out-passed ....Line Up is 7 first Teamers TUFC Bevan,Ellis,LRT,Lathrope,Macklin,Yoeman,Halpin. Should be Two Nil to Bucks by all accounts

Buckland had large amounts of the play. Mark Ellis , Scott Bevan played 90 mins each Haplin scored with a well taken free kick from the edge of the box Gaze brought down in the box . Antony Lynch blasted high into the net spot kick. Winner came from SI Revs with a low shot that Bevan could not save .in the 94 minute. Buckland play Argyle next round. ATTENDANCE 233 Very cold night at the Heath.
