One comment in the aftermath of the last match was that our season would be over if 6 points weren't obtained this week and while I think it is too early to draw that conclusion we certainly need to start getting some results after only 2 points from the last three games. Rotherham are right up there and have a perfectly symmetrical home and away form winning 5 out of the last six at home and losing 5 out of the last six away and although they did win last time out on the road it was against a poor Burton side that are now having to consider the possibility of relegation. Looking at their three main goal threats I would suggest it is Le Fondre, Le Fondre and Le Fondre that our defence will need to look out for. ;D As for our team, Ellis is out which may give an opportunity for a return to a rested O'Kane in a 4-3-3 formation. Otherwise, LRT or Nicholson, Bevan or Potter? But what about Stanley?

Yes I fully agree Rob; too early to stat writing this season off, if we did not pick up all six points from our next two home games. But two points from the last nine is a very big disappointed when it could have been the case we got all nine points. Two games where we were in front and should have held on for the wins, but sitting to deep and allowing the opposition to pin us in our own half, proved to be our undoing. On paper one would think this is a game we should win, Rotherham’s away form has been very poor of late, but they may well fancy this as a game that’s very winnable for them. I do fear if we take the lead, our players will once again end up dropping very deep, or Bucks takes off a striker and brings on someone in the midfield. That is something we must not do and what we should do, is go and look to score that second goal. I know even two goals were not enough against Cheltenham a week ago Tuesday night, but we made the same old mistakes in that game as well. Maybe we should try and get three goals? Surely we would not let a three goal lead slip at home would we? Hard to say how many brave souls will turn up for the game, two games in a week again is one problem and if fans were going to choose which game to go to, Saturday will more likely be the favourite. So I can see another sub 2000 gate for this match, I hope its only just under the 2000 and not as it has been for the last two Tuesday night home matches. I would prefer to see Nico start and also Scott Bevan, with no news yet on if we have extended Stanley’s loan, I would be a bit concerned if it does not happen. With Ellis suspended, Mansell will surely have to play at right back and if there was no Stanley, just who would play in midfield? I will see what the magpies of Magpie Valley have to say tomorrow and if the signs look good might just let you all know after I have driven through there. Shame the game is not on tonight, the coast road between Bridport and Weymouth never has any magpie’s pies along it. This morning around 7.15am I counted over twenty pairs together along it and not one single one on its own. Just had a thought, need to check my lotto ticket.

I made the mistake yesterday of wearing to work only a tea shirt and fleece, I did not make that mistake today. Its been a very cold day today and its going to be a Chris Hayes Brovil night up at Plainmoor tonight for sure. Apologies in advance to all my fellow TFF members who chat with me on the popside, tonight I'm in an executive box that comes complete with a half time meal and that appeals to me just that bit more than standing on the cold old popside. My plastic Manchester United fan boss asked me if I was watching the Man U game tonight, I told him I'm a real football fan that supports a real football team, so no I told him I'll be watching Torquay United play LIVE tonight. Wrap up warm folks and do your best to create a good atmosphere, its not going to be easy to do that as I fear we will be low on numbers tonight.

Again a very scary end to a match. This time no late late goal against, although with a bit of luck we didn't concede... When will we see a game out easily without having to endure heavy pressure at the end?
Well done against a decent Rotherham team who are up there for automatic promotion. Roll on Stevenage!

Just got back and beginning to thaw out nicely, well what do we make of that gang ?
Eunan took his goal well and waited for the ball to come down from on high to slot home from about 5 yards out at an angle.
Rotherham attack in to our box a shot misses the near post and then suddenly its a penalty.....Le Fondre steps up and we all fear the worse... Blimey Potts guesses right and dives to his right and a great save.
Robbo made a mistake in letting the ball bounce when up against Taylor on the edge of our box he slips in and shoots past Potts,
Strange substitutions anyone ??
And why has Nico been given a peripheral role..... stripped of his role for long throws into the box and not being allowed to bomb on and deliver and support on the wing and standing in the centre circle with Manse on our corners !!!! Duh !
And The Ref must have had a Birthday at the weekend and got a shiney new Acme Thunderer..... As he couldnt stop blowing it all night.
Glad we hung on though, Good result in the end I spose.
