Mark Pougatch and Steve Claridge in the Gulls Nest broadcating to the nation a few mins into the show and he's said Torquay about five times.
A hell of lot of hype about Crawley's Torres eh....

Just got into the ground - I boldly predicted that there wouldn't be a sell-out but I now boldly predict there will be due to the biggest queue I've seen for many a year! Glad I made the effort to drive from Wales to get the voucher and subsequent ticket - didn't think today would be problematic.
Nervous now - I hear Branston struggling - we need his presence today. COYY!

Halftime and Crawley lead 0-1. A lot of hard work to do for Paul Buckle during the break as we're simply second best so far. Must get hold of the midfield and Benyon could do with some extra support.

Had been watching it on that p2p thing with a very good picture. Turned it off after ten minutes though because all we do as usual is pump the ball up to Benyon who get's pushed of the ball every time. Looking forward to Kee coming on for the last 30 seconds in a bid to win a game that's already lost!

Ospel
Got to agree. Its just too crowded in midfield and Benyon has no chance.
Only two chances fall to Ellis from Nicho freekicks.
All too comfortable for Crawley.
Anyone watching the game via Veetle? Not sure if I`m doing anything wrong but the pictures are a bit jumpy and delayed.
when I registered it asked for bandwidth but wasn`t sure so just picked 512. any ideas?

Stuck in London at university at the moment so I havn't been able to make the game, although my local side (in London at least) Leyton Orient just knocked out Swansea so good on them.
Doesn't sound good from the first half, Crawley have sounded very comfortable from what I've heard on the Radio. In all honesty it doesn't surprise me, I always had a feeling that Crawley might do us today, it's very much the Torquay way.

Bugger...
Two teams who were equal to each other. A moment of class from Tubbs gave Crawley the 1-0 lead in the first half, to be fair they played slightly better.
In the 2nd half the Gulls slightly better with a few times going close to an equalizer. Crawley resilient at the back. If it wasn't for Bevan with 2 penalty saves this game would've been over a long time.
Crawley Town are a decent team and I can't imagine them not going up this season.

Bloody useless. I knew this would happen. It's such a Torquay thing to do beating the big sides and then losing to a small nouveaux riche club lead by a couple of tossers.

What a desperately un profesional display by Utd.
4-5-1 to open in a blood and thunder cup tie. That really invited them on to us. We should have been 4-4-2 from the start.
O kane was unable to show any skill because there was no room in the first and it was lump it up in the second.
The only sign of an opening that was going to be created was via Zebs and he foolishly gets himself sent off just as he clearly had the beating of the LB.
Sad to say but it looked like we got suckered in to the whole Crawley thing and blew it.
Although we had a go in the second we didn`t create any real openings. you can`t fault the effort but throughout the whole game we looked like the team from a league below that was full of huffn puff and hoping for a kind bounce rather than creating anything. a thoroughly disapointing performance and result.
I do wonder where we go from here now. Can`t see the squad staying together and i fear for next season with the likes of Crawley/ Dons seemingly odds on to come up.

Time to release the end of season DVD. Hopefully by the time I get home I'll be less angry but I think it's going to take a lot of drinking to dilute the bile.
Pathetic - except for Bevs and Branno.

So so disappointing. Not just because it was Crawley (and trust me that's a large factor...their gamesmanship sounded appalling and Evans and Raynor were their usual selves), but it was the manner in which we've gone out. Such a poor performance by the sounds of things and if it wasn't for Bevs then it would've been worse. We never really sounded like we were going to score. A big opportunity thrown away. Great atmosphere and kudos to the fans...will be interesting to read the reports of those there. I'm off to drown my sorrows at the pub. John
