[Crisp, I would say sums it up nicely! Odd readings on my temperature gauge this morning: A98 (E157/0). What can this mean? Oh, here we are - on the balcony in Exeter, remember - minus 10.0C (warmer in the bay?). The only thermometer I own is the one we use for the fridge/freezer. Just put it outside the front door and I got a reading of -4. Its very misty in the Bay and the sun is very unlikely to be showing itself anytime soon. My garden is rock hard and there is noway on earth, the pitch will pass an inspection in just over an hour.

Taken the decision too early again!! Pitch inspection isn't due for another 10 minutes. May have started to thaw by then!!

Possibly the most stupid decision ever - should have been called off two days ago.

Very disappointing to lose a third home game on the trot and from the clubs point of view, another non payday that someone is going to have to cover until some cash flows in through the gate again. The forecast four or five days go certainly gave plenty of hope the game would go ahead, but its very clear looking out of my window, they got the forecast wrong as its colder today than is has been over the last few days. What to to now? well I'm going to sort out Cleo( my parrot) give her a good spray with a spay bottle, strip her monster cage down and clean it. Then I think I will wonder down to the seafront and do a photo shoot of the Boxing Day swim here in Paignton. Over 150 take part watched by up to a 1000 people. Better not get down there to late then and make sure I wrap up nice and warm.

In an act of desperation I have arranged to go with some friends of the green variety (plus a Wolves supporter) to see Argyle v Notts County on Tuesday. Got to get a game in soon or I will have forgotten the rules!! ;D

I did a Boxing day special for the TFF programme pages that is going to look so out-of-place when the game is re-played... The programme itself has been printed so it'll still be used for the re-played match...
I knew I should've stuck to the normal stuff...
Bugger, bugger, bugger.......!!!!!
