Was hoping for some as well if anyone can advise where best to park within 15 minutes walk of the ground if possible (by the way - how do they know if you're not a "home fan" when you go to park in their carpark?!!). Gipsygull - you and Mrs G heading along to this one tomorrow? See you there for a dissection of the match and and analysis of the latest public sector reform!! A combination of the need to spend a day looking at potential wedding venues and the finances involved (Mrs G insists on a nice lunch as a minimum and ideally some form of retail-based compensation for planning a Saturday) conspired to mean that a trip to Shrewsbury was out of the question this weekend, so we'll have to catch up on the shared experiences of life in the public sector to some other northern ground soon!

Thanks tufc01 for the instructions and the in-game match report - much appreciated!
Didn't make it in the end either Gipsy - had what I believe is called a "moment of clarity" just before I set-off and decided to save my bucks for an alternative home game instead given that the club needs everyone on board (and I suspected after the last couple of games we'd get hammered!!!). One thing that puzzles me - surely you should be in contact with the club to book-out Laces for the post-match reception and affirm your wedding vows at half-time with Gilbert the Gull on officiating whilst being roared-on by the crowd? Definately a yellow and blue wedding dress.

Well I think we've found a venue a couple of miles from Kidderminster, so on previous experiences I might get the Harriers to do the catering! What more could a woman desire? Just make sure the guests form an orderly queue for their mega portion of home made cottage pie and gravy with soup and freshly baked bread roll for starters. At least if the "second half" of the reception starts before they have finished, all the gravy stains they get down their dresses from hopping up and down with excitement will have occurred AFTER the ceremony and not before it, so make sure you get the photos done before the food................ BUSTIN'! I DO miss being in the same league as The Harriers.

The first match I took my young lady to was at Kidderminster a couple of years ago, and sadly she then thought that all football catering was the same. Experience since (notably at Burton) has led to the stipulation of going somewhere for a decent lunch before matches now ;D
