Our forth pre season game in six days and we could forgive one or two players if they end up with tired legs after this game. It’s going to be more relaxing for me as I don’t have to worry about getting a match report done before I go to bed knowing I have to be up early in the morning for work.
You might expect Bucks would have in his mind who would be his best starting eleven and its possible he will start them all for the first half and change things around a bit after the break.
I remember so well that seasons pre season games where I felt we all of a sudden playing really neat passing football that was so refreshing after much of the hoof ball that had been played in the previous season, I’m hoping against a team like QPR we will see our boys playing the ball on the floor and playing a good passing game.
I agree with others who would like to see Gritten and Kee start up front as Kee looks so much stronger than Benyon and with Gritten acting as the target man I’m sure he would create plenty of chances for Kee.
I would not expect Rowe-Turner to be Bucks first choice centre back but as we won’t be getting Branston so it seems and until another defender is brought in, its good to give Rowe-Turner some experience in that position as we do need some cover just in case of injuries or suspensions.
There has been some very heavy rain in the Bay today and I expect the pitch is well soaked, let’s hope for some dry weather now before this match, I did think the pitch looked in very good order on Tuesday night.

It has been a good start with 13 goals scored from 3 games. Benyon and Kee have scored seven of them and if they continue their partnership and keep finding the back of the net then I would be more inclined to start with them. Having said that, neither have yet played with Gritton so maybe a case of wait and see.

QPR will be a much tougher test than the games so far. Neil Warnock dosn't do soft warm up matches so will probably have most of his 1st team on display during the 90 minutes. I expect him to give the ref some verbals too It will be an indicator of how far we've progressed and TBH, losing by the odd goal would not be the end of the world against what I think will be a top 8 side in the Championship this season.

That's the problem with all these goals flying in, you lose count. My bad, for some reason thought we only scored four at Weymouth. ;D

Well I hope Rangers turn up at the right place. My neighbour who's son plays for them (Bagasam Graham) told me that his son had gone with them to Devon and I remember thinking at the time he had done well to be included in a First team squad at the age of 17. Turns out he was in the reserve squad that went down to Bognor Regis...................oh well what's one seaside town compared with another to a Londoner?
