Seems Robertson has had a freak accident doing extra training today. We will be out Of the squad for tomorrows game. It Is feared he could be out for weeks, not good news what with having Todd out as well.
So It will open the door for Ellis to come In and Hodges can also play there If required. I hope Ellis gets the chance and puts In a good performance as the club as always felt he Is a very good prospect.

'Sorry love'!? Is there something we need to be told Dave? (not that I have a problem with it or am judging you, my dear).

'Gentle' way of Devon folk! No way! Being a Devon boy myself I'm sure you're mistaken. We might be slow but rile us and you'll see the caged beast within! On another subject does the wife know of the other woman 'Evo'? I've got a Rover - can I cry now?

Its a bit gutting really, especially for Robbo (obviously) as he and Stevie Woods had been playing excellently together in recent games (Rushden, Stevenage etc) and now he's going to be out for 6 weeks. I hope Ellis is ready to slot in tomorrow as I'd expect it'd be Ellis and Woods as the back two, even if it is Chipstead.

I would expect Ellis to make a few mistakes, only because I feel he will want to do well and may just try a little to hard.
It will be up to him to grab his chance and try and make the spot his own, that way we would not have to rush Robertson back to early.

The truth is the player himself doesn't even know yet how long he is going to be out for.
He had a scan yesterday but it was inconclusive because of the amount of swelling. He is due to have another scan later in the week - and depending on what the prognosis is, at best he might only be out for a couple of weeks, but at worst it could be a few months!
Hope it's only a couple of weeks as the way he has been playing of late, I think we will miss him a lot.

Well lets hope Its only a few weeks, I think he Is the most improved player this season and to think he Is on the transfer list, or has he now been taken off It.
Hodges did OK today, but I did feel It was the opportunity to give Ellis a game, I hope things are good with him and Bucks.

You hope things are good with Bucks. Who do you mean Dave? Robbo, Hodges or Ellis? (all three of course)
I thought yesterday would have seen Ellis get a game but I suppose Buckle went with the senior pro to maybe keep Hodges happy. And to justify his heftier wages??
I don't know what to make of Hodges. I was expecting some class and quality but I don't see it coming across.
Some players come down from the higher leagues with a composed touch and great positional awareness something that I'm yet to see.
The only thing that stands out for me is the cronic lack of pace and he nearly got caught out a few times yesterday.
It will be interesting to see who partners Woods on Saturday.

Pikey, how could you think I mean anything ;D You will be saying next I make cryptic posts and sneak In Inside information Just felt It was the correct game to play Ellis and fully agree with your views on Hodges, Its clear pace Is what he lacks, but like you I was hoping to see more Of the quality touches On the ball, I think most fans expected.

Out now for 2 months with ruptured ankle ligaments. feel very sorry for him after having had his first proper run in his proper position under Bucks' management.
