Thanks everyone.
Had a great day. We parked the car at Parke and walked through to Lustleigh. We had a good lunch at the Cleave pub and then did a Dave R style magical mystery tour around the outskirts of Lustleigh getting totally lost before ending up back where we started and deciding to head back to Parke the way we came.
I got a couple of football books - "Provided You Don't Kiss Me" and "Rejected FC" along with enough beer, wine and port to float a battle ship. Happy Days.

Just to say my birthday has been pretty barren as far as TUFC matches go - just the one game ever played on that date.
I could have celebrated my 22nd birthday by travelling to Darlington on a Tuesday night to see us lose 1-0.
Fortunately, I didn't.

I could have celebrated my 22nd birthday by travelling to Darlington on a Tuesday night to see us lose 1-0. Fortunately, I didn't. I managed a 1-0 Friday night win at Crewe on my 27th birthday. A similar result next season - when I'll be twice as old - will be most welcome. Meanwhile, a transfer to block 121, row 38. |
