Great match reports. Great result, looking forward to the draw.
two things - i am a season ticket holder and went out to work saturday morning to earn my ticket and had to pay for a babysitter as argyle were at home so there!
Also I though it was Elliots other hand that he hurt, my dad was stood behind Buckle and said it was really swollen up

As alluded to above, the quality and intensity from the players did not quite match last week's performance but the entertainment value was that much better! In fact, contemplating in my cushioned chair after only twenty minutes, I was able to reflect that I had already had good value for my money, so many Thanks to Terry for the goodwill shown! We were certainly slower out of the starting blocks and their goal, soft as it was, looked on the cards a few minutes before it came! However, we hit back immediately with a Benyon goal that unfortunately was ruled offside although I am loathe to criticise the blind and incompetent lino from the perspective of the family stand. However, Benyon was once again to the fore and latched on to a good through ball before being hauled down in the penalty area. The result was a penalty goal from Nicky Wroe. This was repeated 10 minutes later when the ref sent off their player for allegedly hand balling on the goal line! A good striker of the ball, I now feel quite confident when Wroe steps up to take a spot kick! With six goals to his credit, Wroe is now our leading scorer! We didn't have a "first to ten" thread this year but with Wroe in with a good chance of achieving this, I wonder how many people would have opted for him? In the second half, we started to make the extra man count and you just knew that we were going to be in the second round draw. In fact, with the sheer amount of goal mouth action in front of us it was a wonder how we only scored one goal. The goal when it came, was from a good counter-attacking run from the dangerous Thomson who was tackled on the edge of the box. As usual in these situations, Wroe is normally up there and the ball fell kindly to him but it still took a cool left footed shot into the right hand corner of the goal to make the match safe. We also hit the woodwork twice and the second effort, from Rendell was quite spectacular and could easily have gone in off the post as it went across the face of goal. I thought Rendell produced a good cameo performance and while maybe not quite in the mix to start, would like to see him get some meaningful time on the pitch. Two wins on trot, a not insignificant unbeaten run, so hopefully, onwards and upwards! A final special mention in dispatches for Donna-Marie as we only seem to "win when she's singing." ;D

Was talking to him after the game and his left hand was a mess, with cuts and a large swelling on his knuckle!!

Swangull I must agree with you:-Scott Rendell was impressive when he came on (the chest turn shot that hit the post).I believe TUFC have a well balanced squad in height players on the left right and from the back to the forwards.Just waint to see who we get in the next round of the cup.J.Janner. ;D

He is so good at taking a ball and getting it under control and then playing that good pass to bring another team mate into the game and yes if he hits them correctly, he also has a very good shot.

Sad I know, but as I don't want to ever forget the day I got to have the use of the matchday sponsors lounge with some other TFF members, I'm going to keep the sticker I was given to wear. I mean the one they normally give me just says popside on it. I wore this one home and did not want to take it off

It's a shame they can't do the club badge properly on it. I noticed this on my sticker last week. Petty I know

The caption for the first photo should be:
Having failed to insert a banana into that trainee's bottom, allsop tries to insert a ball into banana's ear!

Lou has got it spot on, I spoke to Ells as he left the pitch after the game and he showed me his hand, for a game of FOOTball he isn`t fairing very well with his poor hands!
