I don't think there is a need to apologise Ajax......................now tell us something, is the inspiration behind the "handle" the football club or the cleaning fluid?

I apologise that my post was taken in the wrong way. I only meant "cliquey " in the way that Ospelgull interpreted it in as much as it does seem to be the same group of people posting unlike the "other" site. Nothing wrong in that and I agree with Merse quality over quantity. My reference to a North London Resident was only because knowing Merse and his eloquent stye of writing I was sure he would know if "cilquey" is a word in the accepted sense and if it was the correct word to use in this instance to define what I meant . I have known Merse for about thirty years so I wrote North London resident knowing he would know that I meant him ! It was just a bit of humour and I apologise again as it has obviously caused offence when certainly none was intended. You and I have met and talked a few times and got on very well, you also supported the forum when we sponsored Scott Bevan, so I was surprised by your post when I read it this morning. Its clear now that maybe it was just the case you used the wrong word and you did not mean what I interpret the word to mean. Many years ago when Ant was very young, we both were in the choir at St Marychurch church, while I loved the singing etc, I really disliked how very cliquey that church was. A group of people that acted as a closed shop would do, if you were not one of them( and god knows how you ever could be) then you were kept on the outside, so much for loving your neighbour and all being god's children.etc. It is true that most of the posts are made by the same members, but that is not the fault of the forum, all members are able to post, but for what ever reason do not. I sure don't have the answers how to encourage more to post their views, I have tried so many things and in the end had to just say to myself, members will only post if they want too and I will just have to accept that fact. I do not believe any members who does post on the forum would consider they were cliquey and I'm sure they would really welcome so many more posting their views, by doing so the forum will be richer for everyone. The TFF has always been about equality, about encouraging friendships and also about building a good community that we all feel a part of it. It has said all can post and not fear abuse or personal attacks and if that did happen then it would be dealt with. I do my part as do so many others on the forum, but I have always believed in life you need to give a little back sometimes and on a forum it is no different.

The football club Merse !! Best club in the world! Not to forget that shirt, brilliant! Back on-topic, just seen the highlights of this game and we should have won it in the end. Ellis should have hit the target with his header. f only he could head like Todd. We rode our luck at times and were gifted both goals by their goalkeeper (the best outside the PL?). Even they can have a bad game... I've seen more highlights of recent games and it seems we concede quite a few headed goals, with our tall defenders that should not be a problem?

There you go, that should make you feel more at home. ;D I'm expecting to win poster of the month for this incredibly witty post. ;D

You'll be telling us Matt Green couldn't outsprint a Cheetah next. Oh, he can. Which is why Oxford are employing him as a winger rather than a striker. I don't know if they would have thought of that though if Bucks hadn't tried it first. Just goes to show the benefits of an intelligent manager experimenting by utilising players' strengths in different positions. By the way, it wasn't Tiverton under 18s. It was the under 9s.

I found this from Saints supporter 'Neil' on the Southampton Fans Forum...
Bloody hell, we were AWFUL. All I can say is that I am sorry to all Torquay fan's, you were by far the better team on the night.
(Anyone who has seen a similair post on the Notts County game thread may notice a pattern emerging... Just watch those programme notes on Saturday!!... Leigh)
