£500,000 if you win it. Not bad at all. I wonder how Tyrone is doing in Midfield. A more mobile and in your face option than Hargreaves? he was certainly threatening hargreaves position pre-season. I'm glad Buckle has more patience than your average fan, to allow these players to settle in and produce the goods. many would have discarded Thompson last season.

Many thanks merse, if you just stay on the thread and refresh the page and not use the last 100, the pictures will not have any effect on your Internet speed.

Indeed - every single penny in the coffers counts - even a few rounds of this might yield a few grand and every winning performance is surely something that will breed confidence. I think Mad-dog Allen will be throwing the teacups around the dressing room. There are some good players in the Cheltenham team (Low was a target for us last season). Just watch-out for "Bananaman" on the bench coming-on to throw his elbows around as we face lots of long balls in the second half!! I remember Alsop flattening Poke with knees in his chest during Poke's debut at Newport. Poke just got up and got on with it. alsop has been a thug ever since his days at Swansea

Alsop, Hayles and Justin Richards on up-front for them and Low scores for them. Shame Wroe couldn't kill-off the game with his penalty....

To be accurate, the penalty (after 33 seconds of the second half starting) was well saved rather than merely missed. Josh Low has just hit an unstoppable screamer for Cheltenham to pull one back and Charnock has picked up a yellow card. Both Hayles and Allsopp now on (that's all three for them now) and if you think "Big Julie" is a "thug" you want to catch him for a chat when they come to Plainmoor and you might well have a very different opinion of him after that...................what do you expect big lumps to play like? Barry Hayles will knock you around a lot more as a striker than Allsopp ever will!

Richards is a quality young striker in my opinion and with those two old war horses either side of him should learn and improve a lot. I see Stuart Fleetwood went to Exeter City today on a season long loan.

Without wanting to jump the gun does anyone know when the draw is for the next round?

................talking of "learning a lot", Cheltenham transferred a fifteen year old player called Jamie Edge from their Centre of Excellence to Arsenal's Academy during the summer and he is reported to be some prospect rather in the same fashion as Jermaine Pennant when he went there at the same age from Notts County and Keiron Gibbs from MK Dons; not forgetting the young Cec Fabrigas who arrived from Barcelona. When this happens a Development Fee that has already been agreed between the clubs will be payable when the player turns professional at eighteen. I'll be looking out for him in their Youth teams this season!

I've always thought that Fleetwood would go to a L1 club, because of ambition (and wages).

Without wanting to jump the gun does anyone know when the draw is for the next round? Papa Assuming that ALL the ties for this round are played this week, I would hazard a guess of this Saturday morning - on Soccer AM!
