This is forever to be known as the Davey Gravy Stain. Courtesy Aussie! Note that the criminal in question attempted to cover up his flinging of said brown liquid across the table by placing a TUFC napkin on top of it, causing twice the damage it might have previously!

I'm very hurt and saddened that those who I thought were my friends and people I dared to believe liked me ;)have gone to all this trouble, to shame, humiliate and show me up as the mucky pup I am. Its a good job stewartb is unable to get to a PC, because if he saw this picture, he and his dear wife would be looking for an excuse. to cancel our meal out on Tuesday night. I showed Carol but she was not surprised one little bit, she sees the same sort of mess on my shirts every single night. Well its not really my fault as far as I'm concerned. We have not had the use of our dining room for years and I eat my tea, evening meal, main meal, what ever it should be called, of a tray in the front room. There are two very good reasons why I get a mess on my shirt, one is the sofa slopes backward a bit and being as short as I am. I can't get over the top of my plate on the tray. Therefore I have to get the food from the plate, over my belly and into my mouth. The other is Carol always wants to do things proper, she gives me a knife and fork. Well I told Andy(capitalgull) that the food falls down between the prongs on the fork, If I had been given a spoon then all would be fine and I would not make such a mess. I hope Nina does not see this picture, if she does it will TFF match day carverys without Dave R in future, now you would not want that would you? I mean surly it would just be too quite for you all

I thought Chesterfield looked like a team that had "left their legs on the training pitch" ~ no change of pace or real tempo to their game. We, on the other hand; looked like a side that has been together for two seasons now ~ once a foothold had been established, spraying the ball around and interchanging positions with total confidence in one another. Defending was done somewhat in the "thou shalt not pass the eighteen yard line" mode which although led to a certain surrendering of the midfield whenever the opposition came forward; proved very effective as the Spireites only really managed to challenge Scott Bevan from long range. A lot more room given us than in the average BSP game and a bigger willingness from the opposition to go for the win than Plainmoor fans have been used to for the past two seasons led to an immediate uplift of entertainment value and general atmosphere within the ground. I've taken some of the comments regarding the pitch on forums this summer with a pinch of salt as in the close season it is always a work in progress with the aim of coming to fruition at the opening fixture rather than the PSFs and so it proved.....................the run of the ball was true, the bounce natural and the footing secure ~ what more can players ask for? The ground these days never ceases to impress me with the corporate and social facilities beyond reproach and the general attitude, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff and directorate of the highest order and standards at Plainmoor are indeed high and getting higher. These are good times to be a Torquay United fan and it is the duty of every one of us to keep the faith, spread the word and encourage as many people as we possibly can to come along and enjoy the show................I can't wait to come back!

I think Dave should change his cabaret name to 'Gravy Davey'.

I keep telling myself to look on the brightside, as this is giving me a much needed break from all the small jokes
