The Bay was drenched yesterday with plenty of rain and it’s wet and windy this morning and so different to the conditions for last weeks home against Crewe. With no Carlisle we might see Bucks start with O’Kane on the right wing but it might be a day where due to the pitch we will need to make good use of the substitute’s bench. We do really need to win this game and if we do it will be one more step toward safety and a much more enjoyable weekend for us suffering fans. Chelstongull for you today’s competition is spot the face in the crowd

Longie, i was being fascetious. But so as not to disappoint, set yer watch mate. Of course most of you apologists will be flip flapping with delight with a draw and merson will be extolling the tactical genius Buckle used to grab the draw out of the jaws of victory. I will not be happy. Win, win, win. 3 points, performance blah blah blah! Said it all before and ended frustrated by the result. 9 more points and we can relax a bit and forget this shit season. I'm hoping for 3 points DTG as that will hit my forecast exactly of 12 points from 6 games after I took your bait and responded to your ridiculous demands for 15 points. Mind you I bet really you would have been delighted at that time to take 12 points, and we both did better than frankfurt who was obviously posting after a grim night in the Bier Kellar and only wanted 6!! Wie viele? That was only one a game franks and you are normally quite positive. So how about the next 6 DTG? Another average of 2 points a game will be top of the table form .... tougher set of six but then again it's us that have been unbeaten for ages and not the teams we're playing ;D

Ok stef, let's wait til this one's over and have another stab in the dark. If we end up with 12 i'll be quite happy with that and it would make my 15 demand.......er......less ridiculous?

Went to tune in for commo and found I have been "cut off" ~ financial vultures picking at my corpse and I really can't be arsed right now.

Rob, you're a genius. I can see why you gave the MOTM to Benyon last week now. Make Wroe so annoyed that he plays to his real ability. Very impressive man management.

1-3 Their on-loan centre forward is the difference between the two teams.

According to text commentary, it's all us. Some hope to cling on to...?

It was all us. Commentary reckoned we should have won about 6-3. But 2-3, Grimsby win in the last minute, Hereford, Barnet and, obviously, Lincoln all win. Cheltenham also close the gap on us by a point with tougher fixtures now to come. A bad day. The rest of the season will be spent worrying about others from a fans eye view. F*ck our luck. If some twonk comes on here and moans about Buckle, I expect they will be properly rounded on tonight by those at the game. That's if everyone isn't crying in their beer.

The lads really didn't deserve that result. But it's happened. With grimsby winning we're right up against the wall. Can't see us beating them at theirs so it's squeeky bum time again. Of course merse will give it a spin about how buckle is great and at least we scored 2 and there's nothing to worry about.

;D
I've already been told that we were not unlucky today elsewhere by those set on brewing up. Interested in match reports as I was listening to a one sided game.

With respect, if you are refering to our exchange, I said that failure to bring in a good enough striker and our position after 37 games has little to do with bad luck. I thought you were cursing our luck when Grimsby scored....which was slightly more than just our fortune this afternoon. If you are not refering to me, then I apologise. As a general rule, I do not comment on games where I have just listened to commentary - it became impossible with Ken Furphy!

1-3 Their on-loan centre forward is the difference between the two teams. He certainly was (I didn't think there were any decent loan strikers about or if there were they don't want to come to Devon). Somma was helped by some Keystone Kop defending for all three goals - first goal was set up by beating four of our players, ditto for the second and Ellis's slip for the third. Lincoln played some tidy football, especially down the wings where Smith and Robbo could combat the speed and skill of Somma. I still feel that we lost because our lucky players wasn't playing - Mr Rowe-Turner. Either that or it was the return of the star turn known as Davey Beat - sorry Dave When your not getting the rub of the green, the blatant shirt pulls by the Imps should have given us at least 2 penalties were never going to be given and they weren't. I assume the ref wouldn't allow the ball to be dried for us as it would have given an advantage to one team. Perhaps the clever one's amongst us could confirm the reason. Thought the ref was absolutely appalling, certainly one of the worst for a long time and was certainly helped by his love child, the Popside Lino. I lost count of the times he told their players to move back, they didn't and he carried on. We had a great chance at 2 - 1 down but the ball was blasted over the bar. From the goal kick they scored their third and Ellis slipped and gift wrapped their goal on a plate for them. Despite the bloke behind us cursing Bucks for the subs Nico and Macklin coming on for Benyon (who despite all his running didn't create any chances) and Ellis (who despite the slip was poor). Both subs put in a good shift with Macklin creating more chances in his first 5 minutes than Benyon did all game. We had several chances to bury the game but put the ball over the bar twice from 6 yards or so and a couple of class saves from their 'keeper. One or at least two strikers are required - we do not have the fire power to win games when we are either in front or chasing the game. Grimsby are now 6 points behind (7 in effect with GD) and I for one (at the moment) do not fancy our chances on the 17th April. Poor set of results all round for us today. MON was given as Smith - I would have gone for Muzzy with the crowd 2,500 or so (I believe). Disappointing but at least there is beer...........
