Can we get another three points from this game? Well its going to be a tougher match than Saturdays you feel and lady luck played her part in that game for sure. I’m sure everyone at the club and also the fans are feeling a bit more happier that we have opened up an eight point gap over Grimsby and so while I know we will go for the win, a point from this game would not be a disaster.
I would hope that Smith has recovered enough to start this game and if he is then as Robertson did well at right back for us on Saturday I would like to see Smith start as the right back. If he did then Zebs should start upfront and maybe Thomson or Muzzy would be on the wing on one side with Carlisle on the other.
If not then I would hope Bucks goes with the experience of Nico and play Zebs on the left wing as he will proved the cover Nico would need. Bevan will keep his place in goal and I can’t see any other changes being made.
Here is hoping for a good entertaining game and three more points to help us move away even further from the bottom of the table.

I hope Paul Buckle utilises his superior knowledge of D&R to you and picks his left back with extreme care for it was the sight of right winger Danny Green screaming past Nicho up at Victoria Road as if he wasn't even there that spelt out the blindingly obvious to me that our hero of the BSP would be a liability in League 2 If he wants to, John Still can then replace Green with Wesley Thomas (one of those diamonds I told you about that Hakan Heyrettin digs up) to finish the fullback off............wing play and speed of counter attack are the real strength of D&R, but then what would I know about Dagenham living up here? Not an easy prospect and a point wouldn't be a disaster at this juncture.

All results have to be taken in their context - it's vital that we keep Grimsby and Darlo at a distance and our 5 points from the last 3 games has been extremely welcome. However, I don't think many of the strugglers will get much out of D&R this season - so I'd be very happy with a draw on Tuesday regardless of other results (and they won't all win!).
The match will be a bit of a marker as to how far we've come since we last played them. I expect that 4 or 5 of the team that featured up there early in the season will have since left. A good few new arrivals since that time will feature.
When it comes down to it, if we put-in an improved performance and get something at Darlo on Saturday (gulp!) I'll be very happy come Saturday evening.

Quote from today's HE:
"And fit-again Carlisle who was a lively sub against Accrington, will have to oust new loan signing Lloyd Macklin"

If Dagenham have pace down the right wing then surely Smith will play left back.
Would send Macklin back to Swindon, complete waste of a loan. Carlisle to come in for him if he is ok, if he can only play one half would prefer Carayol/Stevens than Macklin.
Apart from those two changes I think Bucks will stick with the rest.
1-1 draw looks a good bet. Crowd 2082.

If it has to be a point please be 0-0.
I think a clean sheet would add to the confidence factor.

If we can continue our unbeaten run then it's fine with me, unless we throw away a lead in "style"...

Magpie Alley gave nothing away today, but then for the first time I can remember I did not see one single magpie as I drove along it. Normally I see up to 100 and that is why I named it Magpie Alley and I expect it’s only me that calls it that.
It’s a long piece of road between Holsworthy and Stibb Cross in North Devon and I first really started to take notice of it when I realised there were so many magpies there and no signs of any other types of birds.
I know where magpies are concerned its one for sorrow and two for joy and three for a boy etc, but that did not really fit when I drive along there on any given Tuesday morning when he have a game that evening.
So I changed it to one for a defeat, two for a draw and three for a win, maybe its my fault he have not won that many game as how many times do you see three magpies together, but I’ll tell you what and I can hear Merse already saying that Dave has now finally lost it good and proper, but you would be amazed how many times it has proved to be accurate and so much so that I started to believe I really was being given a correct indication of what the result was going to be. Maybe I do spend far too much time alone on my own in far out places where even seeing another car can be rare.
So I really do not know what to expect tonight, they beat us by 5 goals to 3 at their place and have won three of their last four games and so if you were a betting man you might put your money on them.
We don’t know what we are doing? Where have I heard that before and here I sit back at home after so many hard miles on the road and know I must not get myself too comfortable or I may just not fancy going back out tonight. I do know what I’m doing that’s the point and it may be the case later tonight that I sit back down at this PC again and say boy am I glad I made the effort and spent my second £20+ in three days to go and watch Torquay United play a game of football.
On the other hand I could end up questioning my own sanity and start agreeing with merse that I’m past saving and there is no hope, but I’ll just tell myself I have a disease and I caught it when I was just ten years old and while some seem to get better from it and move onto other things in their life, for some others there is no cure and they will just have to live with the symptoms as best they can and hope the pain never gets so bad that the quality of life becomes so poor they just won’t want to carry on.
I have always claimed I’m not a gambler because I do not bet on anything, I have always taken the view I work to hard to get the small amount of money I earn and I sure don’t want to give it away to some bloke who drives a car I could only dream owning. But then deciding to go and watch the game tonight is no more than a gamble really, will I come home happy, or will I come home sad.
I will have to wait and see but one thing I will be doing is trying to enjoy the game as much as possible and not let my emotions get carried away, I know there will be plenty around me tonight who will be doing just that and should we go a goal behind will start their rants aimed at Paul Buckle or one of our players.
It’s a good job I’m one of those that can’t be cured because any sane man who could spend the evening cuddled up on the sofa with the one he loves would surely not want to be standing out in the cold, listening to some vile loud mouths and not even knowing until 9.45pm if he even enjoyed his evening and then believed he made the right choice.
So come on Boys go and win this game for me and all the other fans as we really are making the effort and you must also out on the pitch.
