Would be good to see an example made of Luton for this.
If 99.9%+ of games can pass without opposition players having to seek refuge in the away end at the final whistle, there can be no excuses for LTFC.

Personally I'd want to see The Conference themselves come down hard on Luton Town and expel them from the whole set up ~ there is just no room in any sport for people who cannot and do not accept the result of a competition. Expel them and hope that the council send in the bulldozers and demolish one of their bloody stands as punishment. If they repeat the offence again, demolish another one; and so on. There's a nasty National Front element in that town and amongst the following of the football club and that sort of intolerant behaviour is indicative of it........................it's a horrible town anyway and anyone who visits there comes away with a "don't want to come back to this dump" attitude. Luton Town ~ out of the Football League for one more year at least and bloody good riddance! ;D I went there the last time we played them back in League one and I vowed never to go back to that awful town ever again. I'm trying to think of a town I know anywhere in Europe which comes close to it in general shitness. Any offers?

I didn't take to Naples, but I know which one I would rather visit again if I was forced to!

I didn't take to Naples, but I know which one I would rather visit again if I was forced to! I wasn't that impressed by mâcon in France last week to be honest. Souless block after souless block of HLM housing which looks as knackered as something you'll see in some ex Soviet Union city which has an 80% unemployment rate. But 10km to the left and you have some of the best wine in France with scenery to match. The French have this wonderful talent for making the mundane and functional buildings look absolutely souless. You can drive up to any town in France and the suburbs look the same. Horrible concrete council flats in pastel orange, peach or lemon complete with prefab metal shoeboxes home to their version of B&Q or Homebase. Naples? I've never been further south than L'Aquila in Italy. I've heard horror stories from people who come from there though. One of those places where it pays you not to drop your guard!

I'm trying to think of a town I know anywhere in Europe which comes close to it in general shitness. Any offers? Chemnitz (formerly Karl Marx Stadt) in the former East Germany would get my vote...........................passed through there one Sunday morning with TB1 en route to Aue from Dresden and it rivalled Rotherham for utter shitness and degredation, dereliction and decay. The whole town was bereft of people (the population is 3.5 million!)and empty trams rattled along deserted streets lined with broken down peeling old buildings with broken windows on the one hand or souless utilarian type Eastern Bloc structures on the other.........................and there in the city centre was just one fine old building with old KM's bloody great granite head plonked on the immaculate lawns outside! On the outskirts of the town lay a steel and glass "Enterprise Park" but what's the point of that when the real soul of the city sits and waits for tumbleweed to come blowing along? Even the one mighty football club, Chemnitzer FC; have dropped into fourth (regional) tier football and had mothballed their stadium to play to tiny crowds at a local athletics arena whilst we were there although I believe they have now returned to their 15,000 capacity ground which has just 500 seats. We thought at the time whatever must our former player Habib Sissoko have thought when he arrived ther having signed for the local club? Suicidal I would have thought. Still preferable to Luton though!

They've even fecked up the Pyrenees Chris......................I'm sure you've got a picture of that abomination they built on The Tourmalet which resembles a council estate!

Congratulations to Bath City today - winners of the Play-Off final at home today over Woking. Former loanee Kaid Mohamed getting the winner for them at Twerton Park,
Shame they didn't make it into the BSP for our stint there - would have been a nice local day out with some good pubs just up the road.
In the Northern final - Lee Thorpe scored the winner for Fleetwood today in their 2-1 win over Alfreton.

Boston United have begun clawing their way back towards the Football League too. They won promotion from the Northern Premier League by winning the play off final at Bradford Park Avenue and so will take their place in the Conference North next season ~ Lee Canoville and all. Nice for the loyal fans who have stuck by them in admirable numbers following years of mis-management and now that they are a reputable club again, let's wish 'em all the best. Another very enjoyable place to visit with a rather unique fully licensed fish & chip restaurant (Eagles) over the road from the York Street Ground!

Congratulations to Bath City today - winners of the Play-Off final at home today over Woking. Former loanee Kaid Mohamed getting the winner for them at Twerton Park, An absorbing game which Bath just about shaded after a last-ditch Woking assault. Contrasting styles - Bath rather more direct. After being out of the play-offs most of the season, Bath sneaked in after an excellent run but they'll need to strengthen to survive next season. Crowd around 4,000 - fifteen minute delay to kick-off. Bath back in the Conference after a thirteen-year absence which started on the weekend of Labour's 1997 election win (not sure what Ken Loach would make of that?) . With luck they'll last longer than the Tories!
