Mind you, next time you're in Torquay you could try a tour of local park pitches. The King George V slope, in particular, is a sight to behold.
But Sandygate - at over eight hundred feet - must be one of the highest senior grounds in the country. It's also the place where I'll watch most of my step 5/6 football this season. I'd been considering Handsworth but they seem to have disappeared from the NECL. Not that the traffic noise from the nearby Parkway would have made it an attractive proposition.
That's the possibly soon-to-be-renamed Jessica Ennis Parkway...
