I have just received the very best news and would like to share it with you all on the forum. The team will only be having one mascot to lead them out on to the Wembley pitch and before I give you the details I want to say the biggest thank you to Torquay United Football Club.
The chosen mascot is Lewis Starkie, he and his family will be going to Wembley on the staff coach and the club are paying all their entries fees into the stadium.
I have just come off the phone with Grahame who really was unable to hide his emotions and this really is going to be a day Lewis and his family will never forget.
You the members started the ball rolling for Lewis and Grahame told me he can’t thank you all enough, I know Lewis will lead our team out as proudly as he did for the Kettering game, he is a real star and I’m so very happy for him and his family

Brilliant news. Money can't buy an experience like that for him - well done, Dave.

Blown away by that, awesome. Enjoy your day out little mate. I bet Mr. and Mrs. Starkie are well welled up by this one, how can anyone not love a club like ours?

That is excellent news for the lad. Try telling him that the game shouldn't be played at Wembley...
