Time for the board to make a decision. It's clear even at this early stage that Buckle can't cut it. Forget giving him 12 games, we've seen enough now. End it. If Buckle has any pride he'll resign, but i'm not holding my breath.
I wonder how Buckles bestest friend will react to this defeat.
I'm very cheesed off!

I don't agree with your post. I have to admit that I did not attend today's game but from what I heard on the radio Torquay sounded like the better side and have several chances to score and win the game. It would appear that Buckle selected a sensible side with two of the CBs that most fans have been calling for him to use in Todd's absence. He also went back to the midfield pairing of Hargreaves and Mansell that served us so well in the first half of last season. Like you I am disappointed with the start of the season but I don't believe that sacking Buckle at this point of the season makes sense. That being said the pressure is on him and results must start to change otherwise a review of his position is inevitable.

I would agree with your post chesneygull, Dave does post maybe when his emotions are to high, like you said he will need to start getting results because where ever it comes from the pressure will grow.

Ultimately it was another nail in the managers coffin. A better performance against a really poor Salisbury side. However at the end of the day a really bad game to lose and this is the key point, another loss. Will this improved performance mean that we will be beat York? I doubt it very much. Bucks is a drowning man who needs a win and soon.

Good luck to Buckle and the boys then, I say!
I've said it before - who else is out there? Yes, it's his team and his responsibility but we don't have a god-given right in this league and it's still early doors. Very depressing early-doors mind you!
My only call is for Buckle-out! (of Dave's footer with his City kit on!) Why did we not notice it earlier?

I find it quite unbelievable that people can come out with such comments, when they haven't paid their money and been to a game this season. (Thailand or not). Yesterday was a mightier big improvement than Saturday and a 100 times better than Monday. But then, you would only know this if you bothered to go to a game. I get very agitated when I read comments about matches from "fans?" who haven't even attended the game!! FFS! If you don't go to the games, how can you possibly make any assessment on how things are now improving!! And yes, it was definitely an improvement yesterday. Rant, end of!!

The anti-buckle 'boys' have not thought it through at all. None of them have come up with a solution to the 'so called' problem. Keep the faith, PB is the man. He will turn it around, starting with a win on Thursday.

tufc01, our Dave Shaw does really want Bucks to turn it all around, as I said he posts right after the result. Dear man needs to go for a walk around and let the steam out of his ears, before he posts ;D ;D Most fans want Buckle to have the chance to prove his team can cut it. The only problem is that if results do not come, more and more will be screaming for his head. If that happens then the forum will allow its members to make their views known. As It does when any praise is due, it has to cut both ways.
