Rod Stewart Fly Me To The Moon ~ The Great American Songbook Volume V Music to have a soak in the bath with ;D You need a good long soak in the bath at your age to soften up those toe nails if you are going to have any chance or trimming them up a bit I have listened to that album and loved it.

The Doors - Live in the Studio (Sky Arts TV)
Playing such favourites as When the Musics over and Back Door Man.
Jim Morrison had somthing the boy bands of today will never have. A genius along with Marc Bolan and Frank Zappa.

....Hi fellow muzos.... ...........I've been hearing a bit lately (to be honest, on good ol' Radio 2 btw), "The Roller" by an outfit called Beady Eye (actually, I had never heard of 'em afore I did the Google thing to sort it out) - the only "beady eye" I could recall was a song by the ahem Wurzels called "I Got My Beady Little Eye On 'Ee" or somesuch buffoonery, that in itself is probably quite tragic, if not a little disturbing to be able to remember obscure Wurzels album tracks to order, but hey never mind - anyway, it caught my attention cos' the sound was SOOO like the late John Lennon, chord structures, chorus, melodies, intonation, all the lyrics, the whole shebang in fact and it does transpire that this particular Beady Eye are no less than most of the original Oasis boys, Messrs Bell, Archer and Lord Liam of Skank Mank himself - all in all, very good, I know Liam has a major Lennon fixation (apart from the "Love n peace, man" bit judging on his previous, but he may have changed) but excellent nevertheless - I will keep an eye on this mob, think they may go far!!........ also .............for those interested, Robert "Percy" Plant (ex Zep vocalist and one time Nordic Rock God looky-likey) is guesting on the boy Evans' Radio 2 show tomorrow morning at 8 am - deffo worth a listen to for wizened-ish, proggy auld dinosaurs like my good friend Mr_Chelstongull (Lord_Tanktop himself, the Progmeister-in-Chief Chelston Command and Leader of the Loonpants Revolution Party) and me (Hi Phil, like Hey Man!...)......... and ...........sad to hear indeed, that Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie's fantakkers Mon-Wed 8pm - 10 pm slot on Radio 2 will be no more from April - Jo Whiley is doing it then - they are moving to, I believe, Radio 6, Mon-Fri at 1 pm for three hours or something - hope they keep the Chain going, its at over 2000 tracks now - excellent bit of fun..................... ...currently playing..... ......The Harder They Come - by the late Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros - truly brill - Joe sings reggae big-stylee - super...... and .......Wonderful World (live from the Viper Room, Sunset Strip, Hollywood) by the late Joey Ramone with 22 Jacks (ace kickass version)........
