Blimey. Sorry I asked. I've put a bit on the other site as Yellow has started a thread called TFF, probably in response to this. Rob I have aways been open on here,there are no secret staff rooms and everything can be discussed on the forum and there will never be a request that you must PM me on such matters. I have worked very hard to get the forum as it is and I'm sure if you had put in as much effort to something you not only believed in but loved as well, then I'm sure you would do what you thought was best to protect it and not let it get ruined. |

I think I must have missed a few of Yellow's posts, then. I have a thing about unfettered speech. My limits are probably further down the line than others. I know it's not everyones cup of tea. Hey ho.

 Whilst they're talking about us it's all publicity isn't it? If "Yellow" doesn't think we should have an "elitist forum" (his words) or dual forums; they could always fix that by closing their's down. But to be honest only an idiot would survey the two forums and not detect a certain difference in them. Their's appeals to the less erudite, less eclectic and more gullible fan.......................and ours is ours!

Rob I have just looked to see your post on the thread just started by Yellow, as this forum has done all it can to stop and prevent anti .net posts on it, I trust .net will not let that thread get into an anti TFF thread.
The forum has an email address and yellow is always free to contact me if he wishes, he will be guaranteed a proper and polite reply.

I notice rjc70 posts on the other site and mentions edgull... just to put the record straight, I deleted my account under that name due to some rather underhand tactics employed by a member of their admin staff. But I still don't want anyone to think I was actually banned as such....
I personally wasn't happy that private messages were being read by others and that insinuations of what I had written were being posted in an open forum by a moderator. When I made a complaint certain posts were removed without warning which then made my postings look ridiculous... I have nothing per se against how many forums exist but ethics need to be maintained.

I and Dave (SG) had a good long chat sometime a go and there is no bad feelings as far as I'm concerned from the TFF for .net.
This must not be allowed to be used to create a forum war when there is no need and we all need to remember we are all fans of TUFC no matter what forum we belong on.
Yellow is trouble and that is why he was removed from this forum and for no other reason. Can we please just put this to bed and get back to posting on what is important to us all and that is our club.

Hey ho. You missed them because he deleted them, thats way I put in the code you did not like Rob ;D he was kindly asked to look and consider editing the posts as they were personal attacks on Merse. It was clear he was going to carry on doing this and it would have got even worse and so I removed him, it seems even on .net he can't get merse out of his head.  |

I would echo and endorse those comments by Leigh. I too detected an "invasion of my privacy" by means of my PMs being read by a moderator well before he banned me from what he regards as "his" site. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but it's their loss far more than it is mine because as far as I'm concerned all I could wish for in a forum is on here and all the interesting and diverse posters choose this site on which to air their views.

As I said it is not my wish to see this develop into an anti .net thread, all that will happen is those member who enjoy using both forums may well feel forced to choose one or the other, when they should always be free to use both.
Dave and I are not at war and as I said we had a good talk and made agreements we were both happy with, I was going to go and say hello to him at the last home game as we have only talked over the phone. I will do that at the next home game I see him at.
The forums have lived side by side in peace for over a year now and its only one person who seems to want to cause problems and in my view he should not be entertained or permitted to do so.
