Why asterix out some letters in the first attempt and then spell it out loud on the second? Also how was any of what I said directed at you? Chang or sheep dip mate? What the hell are you on? A small amount of editting required me thinks!

Well done Bucks. He really showed his doubters last season. He has matured into the role very nicely indeed and achieved the sort of success some Managers wait years for.

An award that Paul Buckle fully deserves and if any do not think so, they only need to look at his record over the last two seasons and they will see they are wrong. He has shown he is hungry for success and has worked hard to achieve all the goals he has set himself.
Buckle is not yet the perfect manager, or not yet the complete manager, as would be expected for a new manager, he has made many mistakes during his first two years in the job. Some he has put his hand up too, some he has not, but you would hope that he has learned from all those mistakes and by doing so he will go on to become an even more successful manager and at a higher level.
A part of any managers success will be due to the backing and support he receives from the club he works for and Buckle certainly has enjoyed more backing than many managers before him at our club. It’s also true that part of any future success he may achieve will depend on him having a good continued level of support and backing.
I do feel that at this time and I find it strange to understand the reasons why, that there are still fans who do not believe in Buckle and are waiting with knifes sharpened, should he seem to falter. I also feel the sign of a good manager is one who can obtain success despite all the odds that may be against him.
I know some only have bad words to say about Leroy on here, but he was a manager who during the promotion season fans of TUFC took to in a way I had never seen before. With no backing as such he got the team into division one and if he had had just a quarter of the backing Buckle has had, he would have kept the team in division one.
You see I don’t believe a manager can be a good one one day and just turn into a bad one the next day, but I do know that all managers are only as good as their last result. As we all know fans can quickly turn on any manager no matter what he might have achieved in a previous season.
I know Leroy played a part in his own downfall at our club in the end, but it still saddened me to see one who was hailed as a hero once, find fans had turned on him and wanted him out.
Bucks needs to enjoy to the full the success he has had in his short managerial career, he will know that to get where he wants and to continue as a football manager he will need to continue to be successful, failure to do so will only see him take the slippery road that so many other promising managers have ended up taking.
I have faith that with good backing he will do well at TUFC this coming season, only a fool could expect to see TUFC do an Exeter City and go up again next season. Yes it could happen, anything can in football, but a measure of success in his first year as a league manager has to be a good solid mid table position.
He is after all still in learning mode, but there are many who have been trying for years to have the success Bucks has had in only two years, our fans need to give him their full support next season and if things don’t start off as well as some might hope or want, give him the time to sort it out and not start calling for his head.

Aussie, I know they are stopping selling the 4 ecks mate and you need to slow down on it!! I tried Dave's swear filter and the second one got through! Don't ask me why?? As for your post directed - please re-read?? Was just pleased with the news on Greavsie... If you're asking what I'm on?? It's a fine Spanish Merlot, thank you very much!

Ah! Mr Dave has taken out the second expletive that got past his filter now - he's a good man and keeps us all on the straight and narrow!! Anyway, always liked Buckle as he learns and is not stuck in his ways, hope he stays for a couple before he's lured away. Many may disagree but that's life, all together now...

I do feel that at this time and I find it strange to understand the reasons why, that there are still fans who do not believe in Buckle and are waiting with knifes sharpened, should he seem to falter. I also feel the sign of a good manager is one who can obtain success despite all the odds that may be against him. It might be very irritating, but I don't think it's strange. Those who haven't taken/won't take to Paul Buckle often favour the kind of football played by Leroy's teams. They seem to imagine themselves as 'purists' of the game. These people are the ones who greet every airborne pass with a sigh and mutter things about 'hoofball' and 'sort it out Buckle!', yet toddle off after the game to careers which presumably make no use of their extensive and intuitive knowledge of the beautiful game! The second reason is more straightforward. These people enjoy being proved right more than they enjoy TUFC being successful. Hence Davethegull's behaviour following our promotion. We all know people who adopt a stance on any subject and will defend it no matter what evidence is presented to discredit that stance. It would be amazing if there were no Torquay fans who displayed this personality trait!

What behaviour is that Issie? Delighted, deliriously happy? No apology from me for that. Plank!

If you've been deliriously happy for the past few weeks, God help you when you reach a dysphoric state!

Congratulations as well to Gary Brabin - judged by the Football Conference as being Manager of the Season! If it makes him even more deluded than he was after we won at Wembley then god help him.
